I got mine on the second pic ( ). Gen 2 finally complete!

 

Was it the second pic with one Pokémon or first try on your second choice?

 

I just spammed like 20 pics of Venusaur and when I went to look at the pics I took, Smeargle was in the second one

 

Cool! So you don’t see it in the actual photo screen, only after. I’ll keep trying!

 

I spammed 150 pictures and no Smeargle :(

 

Don't know if it's fully confirmed yet, but initial feedback seems to be that Smeargle copies the moves of whatever you're taking a picture of. So that may dictate who you want to spam photos of trying to get him.

 

If I spam a bunch of pics the gallery doesn’t seem to show them all. Is this a glitch?

Not sure if it’s a glitch but it seems to be like that for everyone. You can only look at the last ten photos you took.

 

I think spamming 200 pictures of a pokemon doesn't make a difference. I think it appears in the first couple of pictures of a session. If not, you exit and go back in. It appeared in the first picture of a session for me.

 

sounds like the system only shows your 10 most recent photos in the review section anyway

Got my Smeargle tho finally, 300 snapshots later

 

is there no rhyme or reason to when smeargle appears? have taken like 500+ snaps yet with nothing lol

 

Now all I need for Johto is Unown Heracross and Corsola.

Damn, getting every shiny Eeveelutions with flowers would take more than dedication.

 

They could leave out the shinies like certain hat pikachus.

 

i’m def going for one of each regular evolution but fuck flower shinies lol. also, ready for flower shiny Pichu to be the new rarest Poke.
