How do you change which attack your using in a battle?

 

Each Pokemon just has two attacks, right? I think you just click on the opponent to use your basic attack which builds up your bar to do the second one. Once it's ready, you just hold your finger on your own Pokemon to use your big attack. I think that's it, right?

Ahhh, okay. Thanks! Just battled twice and only defeated one of the opposing pokemon haha. The weakest was like a 1500 Flareon, which I beat, then like a 1800 Snorlax and a 2100 Dragonite.

 

I rewatched Pokemon: The First Movie last night and solved the mystery of why I didn't really remember any of the plot points other than Pikachu's Vacation: the actual movie is completely unmemorable and is basically just one long boring battle.

 

Shit, yeah, I remember watching that. Don't remember a thing about it though, probably for the same reason.

 

I've only seen Pikachu's vacation. Was actually going to watch the actual movie a few weeks ago but never got around to it

 

Can't wait to fire up this lucky egg after the kids go to bed tonight...

I hope the spawn point at trivia didn't switch up too many of the Pokemon there. I'm only a few shy of evolving quite a few after last week.

 

I wanna Machop/Machoke/Machamp so baddd. Haven't seen a single one in that line.

I need some advice. How many evolutions should I have ready before I turn on my lucky egg to make it worth it?

I have 27 ready right now. Out of those, I have Poliwag, Goldeen, Ekans, Bellsprout (all the way to Victreebel), Staryu, and Krabby that will all be new Pokedex additions. I also have three eggs almost hatched... Another highlight is a 613CP Eevee.

I also thought of a good trick for myself in this case which is to favorite only the Pokemon that are going to be ready to be evolved, so I can just sort through that list instead.

 

you can do at least 2-3 a minute if you work quick enough, so at minimum 60. it's better to be overprepared, if you have some you don't get to you can just save them for next time.

 

This is when I ran out of Pokeballs at trivia. I started at 6:30 with 120 balls (of multiple varieties). Constantly spawning. I cried a little.

 

Jesus! Did you catch any Vaporeon before that happened? I've never seen one in the wild.

 

I can't imagine that. I just caught a Vulpix (first one) in my bedroom and was thinking that was a good night.

 

I saw three tonight and didn't catch any of them. The one that was 1100+CP broke free of everything I threw at it so I left battling it to catch other things. Then the first one that appeared after I ran out was 700+, then the third was 137. I already have two, but I'm still a little salty.

I caught about 45 total tonight, though.

 

Saw an Omanyte today. Three tries and then it ran away, cried a little inside.

I did get a Clefairy later so kinda made up for it

 

Only Omanyte I saw ran away after one try.
