Shinys are more common across the board this weekend

 

I’m less than 200 coins away from being able to buy an ultra box. Really tempted to buy some coins and just get it, but I told myself I would never spend actual money on this game lol. Decisions

 

I’ve set up a personal limit of about $35 that I’d spend on this game, because that’s how much a gameboy Pokémon game used to cost me, and I’ve gotten similar enjoyment out of that

 

You have a discipline and self control that i admire

 

I’ve spent money here and there on it. Not in a super consistent manner or anything. I look at it as I go out to eat a lot during lunch at work, if I spend money on the game that means bringing lunch more. And even then it’s like 5 bucks here and 5 bucks there

 

Right!! How many times I’ve gotten an extra 7 layer burrito from Taco Bell for $3 and barely ate any of it. That’s more of a waste than getting a few incubators tbh lol

No, I get that, but what that doesn't make them common. It just makes them more likely. Some places like where I live now have such a small amount of wild Pokemon that my odds are a lot lower than others.

caught two shiny Eevee and thats it so far.

 

just caught a shiny Charmander and Mareep! Just need Pikachu, Bulbasaur, and Cyndaquil now.

 

Finally decided to dump all my 175 rare candies on Mewtwo.

 

Only shiny I’ve seen so far is a t-tar

Definitely hoping for some non CD ones. But I just got Dratini and Cyndaquil. Needed both of those. Just need Bulbasaur now

 

I'm definitely having more luck with IVs than I am with shinies. I had 0 shines from 9am-2pm today. Then I just caught two Mareep in a row.

 

Just caught 3 shiny Eevee in a five minute span.. you know, the one Pokémon I already had 25 shinies of.

 

I put an incense at home and the first thing that popped was a shiny Squirtle.
