just finished by 2nd mystery box session since getting Let's Go, have 120 meltan candies and an 87% meltan, in like 4 more weeks i can get 400 candies lol

 

did you have to transfer another Pokémon to Let’s Go to reactivate the Mystery Box?

 

Yep - transfer a pokemon once the mystery box countdown hits 0 and you can activate it again

 

I tried this to get my ditto and I nailed it on my first attempt

 

not gonna finish this Meltan quest by today, which is going to make it much more difficult to complete

 

Same. Ditto has been eluding me for the past few days

 

I got my Meltan on Sunday

 

the ten raids is what is killing me. i have never put any of my own money into this game. don't wanna start now

 

Something recently gave me like, 5 raid passes. Maybe leveling up, or finishing a quest? I dunno what it was, but I had enough that using those, plus 3-4 regular days in a row was enough. I haven't purchased any premium raid passes ever.

 

I'm up to 145 Meltan candy.

 

Forgot magnemite is both steel and electric. Could have been done with this set of tasks already

 

Do you have Lets Go? I'm at like, 60ish through rare candy haha

 

Yeah, I've done two weeks of the box. With the pinaps, you get 60 a week.

 

my friends and I are thinking of going in together to buy our other friend the game just so we can get the boxes

 

I'm on the Gulpin/Slugma task and caught two Ditto-Gulpin in a row. So that's annoying.

 

Finally turned on Adventure Sync today and left my phone in my pocket at work instead of on the counter and I hatched like five freshly incubating eggs. Before I probably would have racked up like half a kilometer, and that’s if I opened the app every hour or so. Love it.

 

Shit, I didn't realize that today was the last day of the event. Still have like 6 more raids to do to get through this task. Probably won't finish before it's over. Fortunately, I was able to get like three Aerodactyls from the research so I'm just holding onto those.

Unfortunately, I only have like 10 Scyther candy so it's gonna be a while before I can evolve one.

 

Shit this explains why there’s no magnemite everywhere anymore

 

Yeah I'm kinda pissed they made the tasks so dependent on event pokemon. Gonna be a long time before I can finish.

 

Sinnoh Stones are no longer a guaranteed reward for Research Breakthrough... Just as I was about to get my first one today.

 

Either they are very dumb or Niantic is about to give us different ways to get the Sinnoh stone.

 

They said a week ago that there would be other ways to get it.

 

My roommate didn't get one yesterday and was bummed

 

Had a pretty good couple of days with this game (especially considering the small amount I get to play now).

- Finally got the catch 5 bug type Pokemon task
- Got a shiny Aerodactyl with the last Let's Go task I got from a stop
- Got a shiny Pineco from a research task
- Got enough coins to max out my storage
- And I actually got two last minute Evolve 2 Anorith tasks to help me get closer to the candy needed to evolve Scyther for the Meltan research

Yeah, I heard that. I just meant that other ways of obtaining them seem to be imminent with this news. So, that makes me happy.
