ummm, the new update deleted my account? i think lol

 

I had a huge issue where it tried to sign me in with my work email and wouldn't let me change it at all until I deleted that email for safari and my gmail app

So their solution to the 3 track glitch is to just remove tracks?

 

I read something that said it was never a glitch, it was just turned off because of how much it strained the servers. Not sure if true but would make sense

 

It's nearly impossible this morning to catch CP 150-200 pidgeys and rattatas since the update. One throw, breaks free, runs. Is anyone else experiencing this with regular poke balls?

 

Same. Would include Weedles in there too, but this does not seem beyond the norm before the update.

So frustrating. I just want some easy catches for STARDUST and XP.

 

Seems like Pokevision got taken out, eh? The service has been down since the latest updated came out...

 

Since that post I caught a 113 and 179 rattata.

Still not consistently easy as it was before. Ugh. The game was already a huge grind, now it's basically Mother 1.

 

I ran into a 130 Weedle today that withstood 4 regular balls (thrown at the BEST time) & 2 mega balls.

I left.

 

they mighta nerfed the catch rates of a lot of the most abundant pokemon with early evolutions(pidgey, weedle, caterpie, rattata) cause they were the easiest source of cheap xp

 

Dang. Gonna be tough as nails to level up, unless gym battles got better. I've heard that battling is way more fun now.

 

They should include better/bigger rewards for gym battles, both against your own teams and opponents

To make matters worse I ran outside to find them in a Prince Purple Rain T-Shirt & short-shorts!!!

 

Well darn I cleared the cache on my Safari and removed the Gmail app and still am getting the start screen. Any other suggestions?

Hatched my first Scyther from a 10K egg today. It might be the weakest Scyther in the world though. haha

 

Is it less than 26CP? Because that's the only one I've found myself so far.

 

Oh boy. Didn't realize the whole internet was laying into Niantic over the Pokevision/removal of the tracking system thing. I'm not really sure what they're intention is, I guess, but it's not like they try to communicate what's going on.

 

That's two Sundays in a row that the servers are down while I'm at church. Very frustrating. I just want to dominate this gym!

 

And I just want to catch Pokemon. Ugh. Great balls and ultra balls exhausted on a 760 Beedrill, first one I've seen. It ran.

 

Another thing that's been bothering me is the wild inconsistency I've had with catching low CP Pokemon. It's always been an issue, but it's become frustratingly common, since the last update, that I waste 7-10 Pokeballs on basic Pokemon that I usually am after for the candies alone. Don't know if this is related to the update or just coincidental, but I went downtown armed with 150 pokeballs and had about 30 when I left (caught only about 20).

Edit: Just saw others voicing their frustration about this. Seems like it's connected.

 

yeah, i just went on an hour and a half bike ride around my city. seems like they've toned down the amount of pidgey/ratatat encounters as well. didn't run in to a lot of pokemon and when i did, i wasted a ton of pokeballs.

also seems like the animations on encounters got super clunky - with the new text when the pokemon breaks free, it was super laggy for me. kind of annoying.

had a few times where i was around pokemon that i haven't encountered yet, but have no idea where to look. it's incredibly frustating. probably gonna ask for a refund on my purchases since they took away the tracking ability. they are really starting to fuck this game up

 

It is really amazing that they could make this game worse.

 

So basically they've actually added MORE things to the game that make you waste your time and taken away the things that actually help? Guess I was right to want to delete this game in order to salvage my spare time. haha.
