It'd be cool if it was like local trading, to where you had to be in the same area as whoever your trading with.

There will be poke centers, so maybe they will come with some sort of trade function.

I want to battle friends.

I leave tomorrow for 9 days in the Bahamas (horrible, I know) and they DON'T HAVE POKEMON GO YET.

I hope when I return, all the bugs are fixed, servers don't go down anymore, and none of my friends have passed me up. I'm gonna miss so much :-o

What a beaut. I just evolved one last night after having a Ninetales run away after I threw 15 great balls at it. The animation is amazing for it. Some other pokemon look so bland in GO, *cough Rapidash cough*

 

If it's not launched there, you may still be able to play it. Same way I could play in Canada for like 10 days before it launched here. Just open the app when you're there and see what's up.

 

oh yeah? That's super interesting news. What's the deal with pokestops though, were they alive when you were there? And you found pokemon?

 

Happened to hatch my first Rhyhorn yesterday, first I've seen!

 

Tons of both. The game hasn't changed much since it launched here. The only difference I notice now is just more people playing.

 

So, apparently this morning, a bunch of nests changed up and now garner different results. For example, where before there was a Jynx nest, now it is a Scyther nest. Can anyone confirm whether this is true where you live? I wonder if this type of thing gets slowly rolled out? It's been confirmed here.

 

Super interesting. OK, hmm. Next problem is lack of cell service. I'll be roaming, so I'll have cell service turned off, just living off Wifi. I assume that means I can play from my hotel/hotel room, but not outside? I assume I can't walk around on GPS only, then connect at the hotel after a walk?

 

yup. boston common used to spawn a ton of jigglypuff but as of this morning it spawned a million vulpix instead.

 

Gah. That excites me to no end. Can't wait to get out there today and see what's different.

it probably isnt every pokemon nest that got swapped. it could just be certain ones with midrange pokemon - im still seeing lots of drowzee, rattata, etc. but the nest in the common is definitely different than it was yesterday

 

I need one Rattata for an evolution. I haven't seen one in six days. Wtf.

Is there anything more frightening than the look in a Weedles eyes after it knocks your great ball away 3 times in a row?
