The running away is my biggest problem. I missed out on a Vulpix and an Exeggcute the other day because of this and it's infuriating. Throwing a berry and a great ball should be more than enough to catch Pokemon of the level, they weren't even super high cp.

 

I haven't used stardust in forever. Does anyone really power up? I just wait to evolve.

 

Hatched a zubats this morning. Just put in my first 10k and if I get a Jynx I might explode. (I've caught like 30 jynxes)

 

I'll be so pissed if I get an Evee out of my 10k

 

I could use more eevees, only have a flare ok so far. But a Jynx would destroy me.

 

I had two 10ks hatch at the same time last night. BOTH Eevees. I damn near punted my phone.

 

I said I went on that 4-mile run last night and my app didn't work so I didn't get to hatch my 2K egg... I finally hatched it today. Fuckin' Caterpie. I literally would have been happy with anything else out of there. Such a rip off and waste of time.

 

hatched 3 eggs simultaneously last night: psyduck, caterpie, and magikarp. All super low level. I was so bummed

 

We just need to all expect disappointment from eggs.

 

I just threw 4 pokeballs at a 110CP weedle and then he just ghosted. This game fucking sucks sometimes.

 

Yeah the inconsistencies definitely suck. I was trying to catch an Maraowak yesterday, spent like 3-5 balls on him then the game froze. I restarted it and he was still there, caught him first try

 

Pretty sure IV's and move sets come into play when it comes to how hard a Pokemon is to catch. Each Pokemon has a different value. It isn't all about CP.

I agree with the gripes that it gets annoying to never get any new Pokemon. But it's still fun (for me) to catch everything and collect stardust for that rare occasion when you DO catch something new.

It's ridiculous getting mad and rage-quitting the game over eggs not panning out how you want them to. That's the whole point of the fucking game. If you got a new / rare Pokémon every time you hatched an egg, what would the point be? There'd be no incentive to get out there and walk more, play more. It's actually genius that they give shit like Ratatas and Pidgeys and Caterpies in eggs because it only makes you want to hatch another one and play longer. Pllllllllllleaassssssseeee. You'll all be back. LOL.

 

My issue is more that I was trying to hatch it and the game was frozen for four miles. To only get a Caterpie out of that was just adding to my anger. Trying to cover some distance after work for the purpose of hatching eggs and having it not work most certainly doesn't make me want to come back and play longer lol.

 

I've found that about 1:30-2:30 is when the game is completely dead for me, servers just have massive issues during that time I suppose

Whats the deal with hatching pokemon and not getting more than 3 candy. super lame.

 

I've been on a gym for over 24 hours now. Weird. It's next to a public park.

 

It's frustrating that I have maybe 20 minutes a day to play this game and it doesn't work properly 75% of the time. Some people can't play 8 hours a day. Sorry bro.

 

Bout to play a lot tmrw. My last day off in the city. Moving on Sunday to somewhere that's super rural.
