I evolved six Hypnos yesterday, five were over 1000, already had two, released a bunch. Would trade them all for a Vulpix

 

i went on an hour walk this morning before work. took 2 gyms by 6:30 am, checked my pokemon 15 minutes later and both had been booted from their gyms. they aren't even heavily populated parts of the city either. gyms are definitely broken.

 

I don't see anything wrong with popping into an open spot at a gym, as long as there's no on else around that clearly look like they are working on leveling the gym up. That's what I do.

 

when I went to hangout with my friends over the weekend downtown. My friend took like 3 gyms in a 15 minute span just because he wanted me to get into the gym to claim the reward.

Was your Dratini hatched out of a 10km egg?

 

Do better/ rarer Pokemon actually come out of bigger eggs? Or is that just assumed? I'm not sure I've experienced that.

 

That feeling when you see a Pikachu, but you can't go and get him....

 

I just got super stoked on finding a 439 cp Growlithe but bummed because a Alakazam near by but I can't go looking for it.

I also saw a gym nearby that the gym leader is barely a 1000 cp Pokemon.

I have two 10km eggs incubating and hope I get a Lapras and Snorlax or Dratini from them.

My first 3 10km eggs were Eevee, Pinsir, and Aerodactyl.

 

Pokevision definitely worked in getting me a Snorlax right now

 

I have gotten far too many Eevees from 10K eggs, always the worst

 

I've read different things that say you can get the lower-tier Pokemon (5K and 2K) out of the higher egg but not the other way around, but I'm not sure. I thought it was true because I got a damn Eevee out of a 10K egg, but that's apparently what's supposed to happen. Drives me crazy.

 

Productive hunt last night. Caught a Ninetails, an Electrode, and a Gastly.

 

Suggested Improvement: Stardust kickbacks for when you have to unload surplus items from your pack to make room for more useful stuff. Its not MY fault that I hit up too many Pokestops, right? Why penalize me?

 

Hatched a 447CP Ekans and a 756CP Porygon out of 5k's today. I'm happy.

 

Because they want you to pay for bag upgrades

 

This is one of my biggest gripes with the game after trying to actually level up. The stardust should be given out as rewards for more things (evolving, transferring, battling, etc.) I hate having to catch a billion Pidgeys in order to level up my Vaporeon, but otherwise the only way you can get a stronger one is just to keep trying to catch a different Eevee. Should be able to do it through other means....at least ones that are directly related to your Pokemon. Not by catching more random ones.

 

I put SEVEN 5km eggs on incubate yesterday, went for a 5km+ walk - that my back was really hurting for about 3km of (DOMS from dem weights brah!) - ONE of the seven was a pokemon that I didn't have, and that was a weak Likitung. I got two Staryu's in a row but only got the candies/xp for one too

Sooo, I'm quitting doing eggs, and even going out of my way to play this app. I will use it during my commute to/from work and thats it. Really hit a wall with this game yesterday

 

Yeah I'm getting frustrated. The fun of the game was catching new Pokemon but when you never see new ones or can't ever catch them because they run away when you do see them it's just annoying.
