Yeah it works for me now. A lot of apps using Google were down, like Discord, Pokemon Go, Snapchat, etc.

 

Ahh. Yeah I just got an email from Niantic saying Google will contact me about a refund.

 

Well I got my Regice, first legendary raid in like five months. Gonna get back on it.

 

Caught a shiny Swablu today. that was nice.

 

i have a shiny swablu CP140 and a regular CP660 and idk which one to evolve haha, im waiting for a research release to confirm whether or not i'll need it but i think im gonna go with the shiny just to have it. i dont know either's IV, i dont really play for IVs.

 

Only one I can think of that's legit shiny. It's fucking gold. So cool.

 

So I had a super successful day. Hatched all my alolan eggs and got a Grimer (mostly rattata). Happened upon a Regice raid that had 9 people. Was able to catch it on the very last ball. So I had my first successful raiding experience. And to top it all of, finally got Mew. So all I need from Gen 1 is the regionals and mewtwo. Also got to level 32

 

It’s my second one as well. I’ve already evolved the other and rightly named it Goldar.

 

My girlfriend is a very avid player and I found out today that she goes to the cemetery by our place to catch Pokémon on her way home from work. We play together, but she does a lot more than I do. Would you go to a cemetery? Just curious.

 

I’ve raided in a lot of cemeteries.

Yes. Done it many times. Some random dude joined our local group the other week to tell everyone off for playing in a huge touristy cemetery during community day and it caused quite a stir.

 

My experience raiding today makes me want to seek out more raids now. Now I know it’s doable

As for the cemetery thing, I think if you’re being respectful then go for it. I’ve never done it myself. But I’d stay far away from any services and try not to step on or damage monuments and decorations. I know that’s pretty common sense but man there’s a lot of people that don’t have that

 

Take that out of context and try not to sound like sketchy as all hell.

 

I really hate how this Google error had to happen right during this egg hatching event so I can't get more incubators. This sucks. :/

On Sunday, I was in a raid with 23 other people in a city by me, which was bonkers. I got a shiny Lugia.

 

Pokegenie won’t let me check my Mew. Keeps telling me no combinations exist

 

I've told that story before, but for 2 years there was a big cemetery with lots of gyms and pokestops that had signs saying Welcome to Pokemon masters, but with the Community Days, there were way too much people being disrespectful (shouting near funerals, playing in their car in the cemetery) so they asked Niantic to take out the stops and gyms and removed the signs. They are sad about the situation themselves because having people come play in the cemetery actually made vandalism go down since there were always people there.

 

Shiny Magikarp would like to have a word with you.
