Just shiny Plusles here so far

 

Also went a little crazy with the go plus and ran out of balls

 

haven't seen a single shiny plusle or minun, but i got another Lugia and in 20 minutes gonna head out to another one. Didn't know that shiny Lugia is 100% catch rate.

 

Got 2 Shiny Plusle. Meh, honestly wouldn’t have known if it wasn’t for the animation.

 

Got my shiny Lugia!!!!! Caught all 5 I saw today too which was amazing.

Still 3 shiny Plusles and no Minun though.

 

i've said it before, but i wish there was a feature to see who is at raids without going to them.

example, there could be a "check in" feature. if someone is at a raid and nobody is around, they could "check in", and maybe the check in is good for 10-15 minutes. i can see 6 gyms from my apartment and if i knew people were actively at raids waiting for others to join, i'd make the effort to go out, but i hate leaving the house and going over to a raid to have it be a waste of time. i know that's what discord is for, but, most people on that in my area are such assholes/pokemon go maniacs that make the game way less fun.

 

I really wish everyone that plays on here just lived around each other. I much prefer you guys over my raid group.

 

My mother lost out on our last Lugia because her phone lagged and she had to go into another group. They had 14 people and didn’t take it down......... So I agree. Lol.

 

I’ve said that before on reddit and all I got were responses like “no bro, use discord” or “even if they make it, they’ll fuck it up.”

Like I said, I travel a lot and airports are filled with gyms. I can’t use discord for every location (especially a confined one where general players can’t just come join), but I would hop on a raid if I could see that people were checked in anywhere close. My last apartment was close to tons of gyms and no one was ever raiding there. I also think tons of gyms are largely underutilized for this reason.

I haven't gotten any yet. Just shiny Minun.

I still haven't been able to complete a raid yet. :(

 

We need to find you a raid group ASAP.

 

Just got a house in a better GO neighborhood than the one I was living in. Stoked.

 

Ahh, the importance of good real estate.

 

There was a point where one of my buddies (who doesn’t play anymore) was looking for a new place to live and legit considered a place because of the amount of rare spawns around the house. (Deep down I was hoping he would have gotten it so I could have mooched off of him)

 

I don’t plan on moving soon but if I do I would absolutely have to pick a place with a stop on it or right next to it. I have to walk like 1km to the only one in my neighborhood since they took two away last year.

 

3 Aerodactyl today. No shiny. I think this game hates me.

 

Yo shiny Plusle sucks

 

I've caught so many Plusle and Minun, but no shiny. It's Roselia all over again.

 

Still no shiny Plusle for me.

 

Eh, anyway shiny Plusle looks the same. The good one is Minun.

 

Why did they think that was a good shiny? Like it's super strange to me.

 

"- Hey let's put Shiny Minun green!
- Good idea! What about shiny Plusle?
- Slightly deeper red"

 

Some of the shiny choices are kind of questionable. You can pick virtually any color palette (or just default to a gold color) but you choose a slightly darker version of what’s already there...ok. Seems like a waste.

 

Somebody mentioned that the original three generations had shines generated automatically based on their colour palette.

 

I think so because if you look at Gen 4 onwards, the shinies make more sense.
