Good, could do with some more gen 3 Pokemon, feels like most of gen 3 has been spent doing non-gen 3 events.

 

Weird that there is no gorebyss.

 

Just caught a 1228cp/82% IV Chansey. First one I’ve caught in the wild in almost a year and a half. That was a nice way to start the day.

 

That’s awesome. I got a 98% level 30 after someone I know told me about it and I had to race against the spawn to their house. It was so fun. Chasing rares like that is one of my favorite things.

Yeah, we deal with shit like that in our slack group. We had a local older woman who played with us for some time. She was a a level 40, and somewhat helpful for a while, but we couldn't take her meltdowns or antics anymore. She was also a drunk. Every time some people would have a conversation or post something, it had to be a paragraph or more of a response of her internalizing everything. She butted heads with us long enough until finally one of our mods just banned her account from being able to post. She now targets gyms we are in and has made it her life mission to wipe Valor players off the map.

Also hate when i've tagged people, provided all the info needed about available times/locations for raids and willing participants (even polls for some), and then somebody comes in and without trying to read or catch up just goes "where are we doing this and when?" or "where's the raid?" Just. Scroll. The. F. Up.

 

Also I just hatched a 96% Beldum with Attack and Defense equally at 15. Hell yes.

Yeah I hate when people do that, like we have the time to write 30 times the same information.

 

Oh yeah man, her name is "bosleydog40" and she is a menace. But it did provide entertainment at times. Once the bad was outweighing the good we were like okay, we don't want you in our sandbox anymore haha.

 

Some people just feel the need to always put in their words, no matter how useless it is. Like, a girl asked if someone could exchange a specific pokemon and the guy comes in and just says "I have it but I can't exchange it". It just serves no purpose other than showing off that he has the pokemon she doesn't have.

 

Yes, that shit is awful. I always (sarcastically and joyfully) call those out on it.

 

People fight on my dischord all the fucking time. It's so petty. They get so angry if one person misses a raid. It's so lame.

 

I’m involved with our local community but there is so much drama between different groups that I get anxious from a lot of the interactions and often try to pay little attention to it.

 

If I’m ever at the point where I’m so bored with my life that I create drama with another human regarding Pokémon, I’ve majorly fucked up.

There are two Messenger groups for the same part of the city around here. One of them was created because a lot of people were tired of the hardcore players falsely accusing a bunch of people of spoofing. They even started filming videos to try to prove some people were spoofing to give them a bad name. The videos didn't prove anything at all, but they acted like it was indeniable proof.

 

It's gotten to the point where some people won't do a raid if another certain person is present, or they'll do their own separate group. I used to do a lot of raids over there but the drama has become unbearable. I still went there this weekend because it's one of the best spot in the city for Pokemon Go as it's on the University campus so there's a lot of gyms and stops.

 

Wow. All this makes me want to be so social.

 

there are some shitty groups around where I live. Groups will show up together and create their own private group and not let others who were waiting there raid with them because god forbid it effects their ball bonus. I've seen people nearly come to blows over arguments stemming from situations like this. One dude showed up to a raid to call out and try and fight another guy because on a FB group this guy accused him of spoofing, like he had some rep to protect.

People like that make me wanna delete the app forever and never look back.

 

just say "if you are as good of a player as you think you are, you don't need extra raid balls," they'll love it
