Really all I would want from today would be a shiny.

Part of me was hoping that Croatia would put three or four past Russia quickly so I could leave and do a raid or two, but obviously that's not happening.

Yeah, it’s a kid day for me. Hanging out with them. Was hoping it was gonna be all day. I didn’t realize it was only a 3 hour period :/

The mobile phone mast completely died at 10. 30am today. However, I did get an Absol by joining two random people also trying to fight it, so I did have that today.

I made 680,000 XP with 17 raids today. Also got this guy on my 2nd raid.

 

21 (at least) raids, 17 caught. No shinies. It was a really fun day but we had a few mistakes that cost us time and I really hate that I didn’t get one. No perfects either. My mom’s first TWO IN A ROW were shiny.

I could have done more than 17 too but the place where we started was not a good place and we lost time.

 

I ended up getting 2 Raids in with a random group of people in Tallahassee after I was done visiting my daughter. Neither were shiny, but one was 96% IV and I didn’t catch the other. I was just happy about getting 80,000xp from two raids. Almost halfway to 40. Gonna grind it the fuck out during community day tomorrow.

Edit: I don’t think it’s unreasonable at all to think that I’ll be at 40 by the end of this triple xp event. Still have about 21 lucky eggs to burn.

 

When does the triple xp end?

 

It ends Monday I think.

 

Someone I know did 38 raids and no shinies. That is just not fair, RNG or not. I can’t even imagine.

I know I won’t level up during this event but considering just a few days ago I thought making it to 39 would be a stretch and now I’m over 1/5 done I can’t complain.

I FINALLY got a Sun Stone and the game didn't even tell me?! I have no idea when I got it. I'm so pumped.

 

Got a 100% Snorlax from the field research

 

I threw away two of those yesterday and I still have two...

 

excited for squirtle squad today. apparently you get shiny squirtle with the glasses by completing the "catch 5 squirtle" research task that will be appearing frequently from pokestops, so clear out other research tasks!

 

I'm just disappointed that it's not the same glasses as the Squirtle Squad :/

 

I know! What a missed opportunity!

 

technically, it's not completely inaccurate, but pointy glasses would have been cooler than aviators. maybe a copyright thing? thats the only thing i can imagine holding it back.
