Yeah the two piers by me in SoFlo are absolute hotspots for pokemon. Lots of different stuff always poppin up. The more off the coast you get though its pretty slim pickins.

 

once you are holding a gym, you need to go to the shop and click the shield? icon in the upper right to collect the rewards. the more gyms you are currently holding when you collect, the more you get.

pretty sure that just repeatedly taking down gyms doesn't do much for you outside of the xp gain.

 

I could give you 2 of my 5. Haha. So many Drowzee/Hypno around me.

 

What do you say when referring to your trainer "level" then IRL?

 

Haha, I've never seen those here. Not even the shadow. My highest are ones that I've evolved: A level 970 Flareon, a 710 Vaporeon and then a 635 Pinsir that I've powered up.

 

I have two Vaporeons over 1000 right now. Not sure if I should just transfer the weaker one. No point in having more than one.

 

I'd hold off until trading opens up. Something like that is great trade bait.

 

I think I caught my first Pokemon over 500 cp was at level 10 and it was a Graveler.

 

That's *my* level, not the level of my Pokemon, duh

 

Any rumored date for trading?

 

I think it would be cool if there was a "leaderboard" or something that kept track of how many gyms each team holds in your city/town

 

Eh, I think that'd just be a disincentive for people. Plus I don't know how they'd go about drawing borders for that. I like that each gym is its own individual game of king of the hill

 

Here's my squad. Level 23, seen/caught 102.

 

I've only just recently started getting more higher ones through 2nd evolutions of Pokemon i've already evolved. I think many people hoarded their stardust until much higher levels and then upgraded their favorites they've caught.

 

I love looking at everyone's collection so here's mine as of right now if anyone wants to look lol. Sorry they're sorted by number. I'm in the process of getting stronger evolutions of pokemon I already have so it's easier to view for me this way. Had a Beedrill and Rhydon already too but I have stronger first evolutions of them i'm waiting for more candies on. currently sitting at 47 Kabuto candies and i'm praying I hatch one if i'm really lucky.

Also really want Pikachu, Electabuzz, Scyther, Magmar, and Charizard but I have had no luck even seeing them on Pokevision yet.

 

That Ninetails tho.

 

I still feel that was my luckiest catch. Wasn't in my nearby or on Pokevision, just random spawn as I was cruisin' down the street in my 6-4.

 

Is Muk first gen? If so I think I saw one nearby on break at work today. Almost crashed my car.

In other news 5 out of 6 of my best Pokemon are now over CP 1000

 

Is there a generally accepted understanding of how Pokemon spawn? Like my neighborhood is spawning all the regulars constantly, but around 6pm the last two nights, its spawned a Snorlax and Clefable, followed by a Pidgeot and Hypno the next night. Should I be on the lookout for rarer Pokemon during this time?

 

I need a Ninetales more than any of you know.

She is very pretty. Hope I get enough Vulpix candies to get her to at least 1000CP.
