Are you not near any stops? Just spinning one a day guarantees one every week.

 

I often break my week streak...some days I forget. I just think there should be another way to get them that would make it easier for people who don't play every day.

 

I personally wasn't massively affected - I got locked out for about 20 minutes and it cost me a Lucky Egg that I'd activated right before it died - but good to see something being done, wonder what it will be.

Also, we were apparently halfway through the Europe part of the research tasks a couple of hours ago. I've been doing my part...

 

Didn’t realize shiny Roselia was a thing. Decided to look for one and the second one I clicked on was shiny. Why can’t they all be that easy?

 

Never seen a shiny myself.

 

I knew they were a thing and I've clicked on every single one and not found one and just basically *middle finger emoji*

 

Was the shiny roselia a limited time thing?

I’m still mad about not getting Corsola my last trip to Florida. But I’ve got another trip coming up in September. Hope they don’t do another event that wipes all spawns from later generations again.

 

Everyone in my raid chat got a shiny Roselia on there like 1st and 2nd one. I’ve caught about 10 and nothing.

I did catch 2 Regice and a wild Hitmonchan today so that was nice

 

I got a shiny Mawile today!! I’m so stoked. The raid only had a few minutes left and it was kind of a spur of the moment thing while I was out getting gifts. So much frustration finally paid off.

Still no shiny Roselia and I’ve seen tons. My mom has hers already. It’s so pretty.

 

Some people have discovered evidence that we would get a new set of Special Research tasks for Celebi during Go Fest.

 

I think the evidence is that those at Go Fest will get the research there but it’s not for everyone yet. That’s probably the global catch challenge goal that is unknown.

 

I still don’t have Mew though because of these damn ghosts

 

Magikarp for me. We might miss out unless the game starts being nice to us.

 

I’m sure the research will come after Mew is finished and not take it over.

 

I’ve even got that one ready to go! I’ve been on the ghosts for over a month and a half. I’ve got 8.

 

I've got enough magikarp now but I'm still looking for ditto. I catch every sentret pidgey and rat. :/

 

This game is so strange. I got my Ditto within the first ten catches after that task arrived.

 

Have you been trying at night? A lot more ghosts spawn at night than during the day.

 

Yeah. I work in a mall with 15 Pokestops and close two to four times a week. I’ve caught all eight at random.

 

Oof that’s rough. I see a lot of Duskull here in the early morning but that’s pretty much the only ghost type that’s somewhat common, even at night.

 

I razz and ultra ball every one I see

 

I couldn't get my Ditto for like a week and then right after I caught him I caught another one.

 

The way the Special Research screen is set up suggests you take them on one at a time.
