Wasn't sure what it was because I've only seen the French version of the announcement that was posted by people around here. I play in English but a lot of people here play in French, with the horrible French Pokemon names ugh. Grimer in French is Tadmorv, which basically translates to Heap of snot...

I'm from Quebec City. French is my primary language, but I'm also very fluent in English. I put my phone in English just because I didn't want the French Pokemon names lol

 

Haha are the French names that bad?

 

Well some aren't that bad. I actually like the names of the three Legendary birds in French (Artikodin, Electhor, Sulfura). But some are just totally horrible. Swalot's name in French translates to Swallows Everything, which sounds kinda dirty.

 

Sulfura is really cool. Man, I might have to look some of these up.

 

I've just always known the English names, so getting the French names was unbearable to me haha

 

Been playing this a lot the past few weeks after not playing at all for a while. Glad they finally have trading. Is there some sort of special thing going on cause I caught like 20 Vulpix last night in my town which is something I never see around here lol

 

The weather update. Pokémon spawn based on the weather, sunny weather makes fire Pokémon spawn more frequently, so I’m guessing that’s why because the same thing happened to me when they added the weather feature. Not sure when you stopped playing but I believe that feature was added like 7 months ago.

 

Yeah I'm aware of the weather update, I just never had that many of one keep spawning from the weather

I stopped playing cause I was really busy with school and there was never any good pokemon on my campus anyway lol

 

My best alolans so far are a 96% Sandslash, 93% Muk, and a 91% Muk which I got roughly the first day. Still no Vulpix though which I think is the only one I haven’t gotten yet. Unless there’s a geodude I didn’t know about.

 

Good thing I hatched another fucking Meowth. This game frustrates the hell out of me sometimes

 

That's because it's not a good game, it's only good because it has POKEMON

 

I just realized this game is the one thing I go to lately when I'm not feeling well.

 

1 hour long lucky egg bonus activated starting July 2nd. Also shiny Roselia is now in the game.

 

I'd love a shiny Roselia. That was my first shiny ever.

 

Typical day for me. Just hatched another Alolan Meowth. Cool.......cool cool cool

 

Maybe we can trade? I have a lot of Alolan Meowths if you're farming them. Huehuehue.

 

I really wish remote trading was a thing because I would definitely take one. Haha. I did manage to grab a couple Heracross and Corsola for some future bargaining power though.

 

I live in Northern Florida and Heracross is just out of my reach. I would trade for one in a heartbeat.
