I’ve been getting the evo items in non 7 day spins lately. How long has that been a thing

Well then I have the shittiest of luck with this game.

 

Snorlax is actually my favorite Pokémon to be honest. I’ve just actually been very lucky and caught a lot of him so I’m just a little disinterested in this new set of field research. (I’ll still get 4 Snorlax over the month of July because I’m addicted to this game)

I’ll be pretty stoked if they happen to release the Kanto regionals as part of the field research tasks, but if they don’t I really don’t need anything else from gen 1.

I made a promise to Snorlax when the game started that I would never ever transfer him. Now I have 23 and probably half were wild, none have ever fled on me. He’s my baby and I love him. I feel like the karma should bring me a shiny for him as soon as it happens.

The fact that he isn’t purple will always make me furious. He and Pikachu are so iconic and their shinies do not stand up. He’s still a cutie though.

 

I think of you did a poll, a significant number of people would not know which is the default color scheme and which is shiny...

 

I mean I know which is which and I still don’t feel confident

 

I kinda wish Snorlax was that shade of blue normally and then had a cooler shiny scheme.

 

I wish we could just move on from Gen 1 already...

 

The Gen I through III shiny variants were auto-generated based on their original color palettes. It wasn't until Gen IV that Gamefreak started designing the shinies. That is why there are so many green Gen I shinies.

 

Is it possible to get a shiny Mewtwo in this game yet?

Do you know where there's a good list of what's available? I'm trying to figure out how many I need to finish my regional dex. Good luck with Lunatone...got my first one last night, it was a rush!

I like how this game is two years old or whatever and the catching mechanic, the primary function of the game, is still shit.

 

How exactly would you change it?

 

Hmm. I just wish it made sense to me. I don't exactly know how their algorithm works, but I find it frustrating I can throw a pokeball at a 900 cp Pokemon and catch it when it's deep red on one go, but I'll throw great balls at a green with greats or nices and it'll break on first shake repeatedly.

I just wish it was more accurate.

I legitimately didn't see any Magikarp today and that makes me sad. I'll never get Mew. I hope you get a shiny soon.
