I would be so happy if we get the Regis

 

The older games didn't really put a lot of thought into shinies at all. Most of gen 1-3 are pretty disappointing. I'd argue that gen 4 is where most of them started to look a lot better.

 

I caught two Shuppets walking home on Tuesday night after Death Cab. Turns out 1am is peak Ghost time it seems.

Still pissed I have thrown away shiny Shuppets on TWO occasions in the past. I need to pay more attention.

 

Shuppet has always struck me as a word you'd see in Urban Dictionary for a really gross or racially offensive puppet or something.

I wish they were better at naming Pokemon.

 

Yeah, there are definitely some awful named pokemon. Ho-Oh is still my least favourite name though.

 

They don't even try sometimes, but at least they aren't like Digimon haha .

 

I don't get it. Sometimes they're just like, "Nah, the Japanese name is fine".

Houou means "phoenix king" in Japanese. Ho-Oh is a silly non-sense word in English.

 

Most legendaries and mythic Pokemon share their names across the world.

 

Exactly except like Artione, Zaptwo, and Molthree.

I always call it "Shitpuppet" anyway but not for the purpose of being gross. It just sounds like what Jim Lahey would call it.

Not gonna lie, hadn't heard of the regis until like three weeks ago. Anyone want to give me a quick summary of why they are cool?

 

They’re the new legendary trio for Gen 3.
An ice type, rock type and steel type instead of the traditional ice/fire/electric of the first 2 gen legendary trios.

 

In the video game I always thought that the Regis were the worst legendary trio, due in part to their typings (ice = trash, rock isn't too great) and slow speed, but I think in PoGo they'll be pretty useful. I'm excited that we're getting something new.

 

They all have really high defense so it will be a pain to beat them within the raid time limit unless you have like 8+ people

 

They look really stupid too. Still excited to get them! Haha

 

This is true. I didn't think of that. However, Regice and Regirock at least have a ton of weaknesses, so it's likely you'll get a weather boost while attacking them.

 

I don't think they'll be that useful since they're more of a Defense Pokemon, and we can't use them to defend gyms.

Looks like they'll roll it out slowly to test out the waters for the feature to make sure there aren't bugs. I'm sure in a days it'll be level 35, then 30, etc etc. The did the same thing with.... I forget which feature
