Daaang yo all i am seeing is fuckin treekos (weather boosted i guess bc its all nice and sunny out) ive seen only like 5 larvs so far

 

Started the day with 10 larvitar candies. Ended it with 2 shiny tyrannitar, 1 normal tyrannitar, a shiny pupitar and a normal pupitar. Best community day for me yet!

 

I absolutely killed it that community day I’m actually shocked how well I did

Also finally hit level 37

 

Yeah, this was hands down the best community day I’ve ever had. Caught 5 shinies and caught enough to evolve into 5 Tyranitars and the weather came back around to partly clouded so they were weather boosted.

On a side note I also caught a 2906cp Snorlax. IV’s were okay but that was a really nice surprise.

 

I hit that last hour hard. Probably the most successful I’ve ever been. Went from 3 candies to enough for two T-tars and another pupitar. 2 shinies. Got an absol.

Also, did anyone notice how easy everything was to catch? About 98% of the Pokemon I caught were all red balls and first throws

 

Yes, I think they threw a catch boost for everything today. It didn't seem to disappear at the end of the three hours, either, I was catching stuff later in the day and it was still all green rings

 

Yup I pogo plussed almost everything, it was like it couldn’t miss. Wonder if that was purposefully done to make community day more fun for casual players.

Just thought very strongly about looking up cheap flights to Dortmund before I remembered I'm working the end of the month...

 

Got my shiny tyranitar. Great success

 

Caught a shit ton of Larvitar, no shinies. Probably caught 35 today.

Did get a weather boosted Tyranitar tho. Fun day, all in all.

 

Just gotta reiterate how clutch the “skip catch animation” glitch is. Especially for these community days.

3 shinies in 3 hours. Easily my worst yield on a community day.

 

Powered up a few of my Tyranitar after evolving four to get the special move. I did have like ten before this event though but only a few were very high CP.

And I still have 680 candies left! Great community day, reinvigorated my interest in this game.

 

Today was the worst Community Day I've had catching wise (I only played for an hour and change because I chose to watch the World Cup instead) BUT I did find my first shiny Wailmer while walking around just now, so my day is now a huge success.

 

I caught my second shiny with 1 minute left on the event

 

i had to sit this one out so it’s my turn to be salty and jealous!

 

Damn dude. Missing a community sucks. I was pretty bummed when I had to miss Bulbasaur day. I don’t know what that says about me as a human being but I feel your sadness if it’s any conciliation.

 

haha yeah, some friends from downstate came last night for a show and wound up calling an audible and staying an extra day so i hung out with them. it sucks but it’s nice to remind myself that, when cornered, i can prioritize now and again

 

Oh man lol

 

Got 6 shinies in an hour. I had like an hour and a half to play and my gps was bugging the first 30 minutes so.

 

Used 3 incense and played for 2 1/2 hours during the event and saw 9 Larvitar. Caught a 90% Seadra and a bunch of water types, but this event sucked ass here.

 

Just hatched/caught a 100% Magikarp and Wailmer back to back tonight! And a couple of weeks ago I hatched a 100% Swablu which means I now have perfect versions of all three of the Pokémon that require 400 candies to evolve.
