Didn't get a shiny Meditite, even though I've caught 200 of them. Got a shiny Makuhita though.

 

got a shiny Meditite, a shiny Makuhita, and 2,347 tokens of my deep rooted self-loathing

 

Thats about what I'm at with Swablu.

 

biggest (only?) con about it ending: i have the "make 3 excellent throws in a row" quest and Makuhita was the best target. got 2/3 at least 10 times before blowing it. never gonna happen now for my uncoordinated ass.

 

Whenever I get throw challenges I wish for a Wailmer nest to magically appear

 

I'm the exact opposite. I found Meditite in no time and then clicked on over 200 Makuhitas with no luck.

But yeah, only thing I've found better for throws than Wailer are Ursaring. For some reason they moved him comically close to the screen to the point where it's hard to miss.

 

Don't know if this is a mistake, but Lugia is back in raids right now.

 

Got my first Lugia, Mewtwo, and Mew all in the same day!

 

Saw some around here too. Seems like it was a mistake but I’m not really sure.

 

I throw those challenges directly into the trash.

Given that I almost died on Mewtwo, I should probably focus on Larvitar. I just don't have the patience.

 

I got 3 excellent in a row after 3 weeks of carrying one.

 

I just caught my third ever Ralts. It just hit me Gardevoir is one I still need. I have never even seen one in a gym. Ralts has got to be a candidate for a future community day.

 

As someone who hasnt played for ages, I started again recently and today I got a Zapdos. That was nice. Pumped for the weekend so I can finally evolve my Charmeleon.

 

I've seen Ralts quite often around here when it came out, but now I never see it. Good thing I already have my Gardevoir. In fact, Ralts was the first egg I hatched when Gen 3 came out.

 

I got a 93% Gardevoir and boosted it pretty high. Awesome against certain types. But I had to use a lot of rare candies to do it cause the spawn rate for it decreased significantly over the past 6 months. Used to get them in eggs but I don't think that's happened in a long time either.

 

Maybe I'm a brat, but since they took away the stardust that you used to get for keeping pokemon in gyms, I think that the 3,000 minimum on stardust for doing a raid should be the standard. Out of all the resources in this game that seems to be the one that is so hard to come by. I don't like that it takes like a week to level up one pokemon. I've been playing this game since day one and haven't missed a day of playing besides a missed day here and there and I currently only have 6 pokemon at their max level (I'm a level 38).

Just gotta catch all those weather boosted Pokemon! I started having better averages of stardust focusing on burning redballs on those. TBH though, we're both lvl 38 and I have just about the same amount maxed, so you may be doing better than I do. I also have the habit of getting multiples of pokemon up to certain levels, and then once it starts costing more than 7 or 8 thousand in dust I stop.

Yeah, that's true. I have a problem that once I've started working on a Pokemon I keep going until they are maxed out. I also wasted so much dust on really crappy IV pokemon in the first year because I didn't pay attention to IV's. That might have a lot to do with this as well. Lastly, my step son went through one time and was looking at my Pokemon and just started leveling them up and used like a million star dust on complete garbage before I realized he was doing it.

 

Oooooof yeah that's rough. I get slightly nauseous thinking about how much dust I wasted in the first year and a half on crap, and also how many Pokemon I had transferred based off of CP levels and not IV's.

 

Oh yeah, high CP was my only criteria for keeping pokemon the first year I played this game. I can only imagine how many 100% IV pokemon I trashed during that time.

I think the one that gets me the most is a snorlax I dumped so much stardust and candies into just to finally check his IV when I started paying attention to them and he was like a 10% IV or something. I was so mad/annoyed at myself that I just transferred him like it was nothing.

 

I just this year finally got a worthwhile Snorlax. Took what seemed like forever.
