Got my Mew today and my first Absol!

 

No raid for me today finally.

 

I wish I just had like one day where I could just burn through all these lucky eggs, Star pieces, and raid passes and hit 39. I really think I could if I could get like 3 Raids per egg. Gotta be an adult though

 

I’m pretty sure I went 9-10 Raids for Kyogre before I got one, and it was a 69%. I eventually got a 96% later in the month, but that one was the worst for me. Infuriating every raid.

 

Found myself getting back into this recently. Still trying to level up my three starters is evil.

 

now sure how much of this you're aware of, or if you care to this level or not, but it's generally advised not to level stuff up until you're rank 30. until then, wild Pokemon have a higher CP threshold at each level you go up, so you may use up your stardust on a Pokemon only to run into one as powerful if not more at your next rank. obv not the most fun way to play for everyone, though.

 

hot damn - rolled the dice on some TMs today on Mew and managed to teach it Shadow Claw and Solar Beam!

also, advice: i have the rare candy to get myself up to a Flygon, Salamence, or Metagross. would be my first of all three. what should i go with?

i just know i'll hatch a bunch of whatever i pick and regret it haha. will prob check which has the best ivs and go with that

 

Yeah probably your best bet that way haha. I feel like Bagon/Trapinch/Beldum are future community day options anyway

 

Did my first two Latias raids today and caught them both.

 

Just had the first ghost I’ve seen since the Kanto event ended run on me! Still need six more dammit

 

Beldum is definitely the hardest to come by, but Metagross is best as a gym defender. If you have a really good Bagon, I find Salamence to be useful in raids and his cp gets up there. Flygon is rare but useless.

 

Some things never change. Still one of my top five pokes.

 

I’ve hatched 3 Trapinch in a row now from 10k and every time I’m like hell yeah until I remember he is fucking useless.

 

I hatched four Porygon in a row. I'm okay with it because Z is coing, but I have yet to see a Miltank.

 

3/3 for Latias.

 

I keep fighting a Blissey at a gym and the thing keeps going back to max cp. Can't figure out what is going on. Could a person pumping out rainbow razz do that?

 

One Golden Razzberry will put your Poke back to full health from wherever you are, so yeah, it's probably that.

Dang, and I thought I was special with my 98%.

 

Sounds like a “babysitter” as I call them. Somebody who has a Pokémon in the gym at that time was monitoring it every time you attacked, and then golden razzing them for sure. It’s beyond annoying, but strategic I supposed. I’ve used that technique when trying to hold a gym ahead of an ex raid.

 

Caught three ditto this weekend, all from Mankey.

Got my second Zapdos yesterday.

Got a Mew today.

Going for Mewtwo this afternoon. Fun week.

 

I arrived 2 minutes too late at my Mewtwo raid today, everyone already did it. It was even Weather boosted :(
