Still missing Ho-Oh (sigh). Probably still 3 months or so before it rotates as one of the field research Pokemon.

 

Also, on the topic of Gen 4 (which I know nothing about), I read that it'll probably be coming out beginning of summer if the previous release schedules are any indication. Makes sense to me to be honest. That's when a lot of players can really get out and play because the harsh winter weather is over. Problem is I live in Florida so it gets to be too damn hot to play. The humidity makes it almost unbearable to be outside to be honest. However, I won't let it stop me from catching a bunch Pokemon I've never heard of before.

 

Keep your eyes peeled for Bidoof, they are like the gen IV pseudo legendary.

 

My 7th Pokestop of the week was a gym of my color and it gave me 69 items. Nice!

 

first attempt at catching at Latias was infuriating

 

If you switch to AR mode and then switch right back to regular and throw your ball pretty quick, the Pokemon seem to not move for the first little bit. At least that trick was working for me on Latios.

 

i will have to try this. Latias is about twice as far away and twice as rowdy it seems

Got my Zapdos today. Just need Articuno/Mewtwo/Mew besides the regionals for Gen 1. Probably will never get mewtwo unless they give him away too.

It kind of sucks because recently a lot of the players in my raid chat group have pretty much quit doing raids since they've started banning players who spoof. For the first time I've been having a hard time finding enough people to do legendary raids. I've never had a problem with spoofers because in all honesty they've always made it where we've had enough people to raid (usually there are like 3-4 of us physically there with the rest "flying" in). I have a feeling I'm going to have a hard time coming by Latias.

 

imagine thinking sitting on your couch and stripping the active portion of this game away is a good use of your time

 

Spoofers are weird to me because I need them to be able to raid, but I don't get wanting to just sit in your house and play this. If you want to sit in your house and play Pokemon, why don't you just play one of the various iterations of it on the gameboy or ds? It's just odd to me.

 

I'd only spoof for regional pokes

 

I've held off so far. I've thought about doing it, but I really like to being able to say I've made it a 3rd of the way through level 38 with no spoofing. I know it's not that big of a deal, but it's just a personal thing for me. I've been playing since day one and honestly have at least opened up the app once a day since I downloaded it. I'm also scared of getting shadow banned after investing this much time into it. My buddy has been shadow banned since field research came out and still can't see rare pokemon when he plays. However, he was pretty bad about spoofing. He would actually run the programs that would like auto run his character and auto catch stuff in places across the globe from where he lives. So, he kind of deserves it to be honest.

 

i would never spoof for anything, because if i ever got banned i would be done for good. starting a new account sounds like pure hell
