I'm loving getting a shitload of items from the gyms. The last event cleaned me out of Pokeballs so it feels good to restock.

 

yeah i'm at 200 ultra balls for the first time since Community Days began

 

I've also been using a lot more balls now that the weather is finally nice here and I can get out and go for walks.

 

The same thing happens to me EVERY.......SINGLE......TIME

I actually spent my own money for the first time in over a year on this game (I did use an iTunes gift card like a month ago I got for my birthday) so I could get two of the big boxes. They are just too good of a deal to pass up. I hate it, because one of my goals was to never spend any money on this game, but I've actually spend about 50 bucks overall (which really isn't that bad to be honest considering how much I spend to buy a game that I play one or two times and then never really play it again). At the very least this game I play it once a day to get my catch of the day, spin of the day, raid, and now field research.

 

Honestly I just want the events to chill for a minute so I can catch some fucking ghosts lol

 

i've spent about $50 as well, and for the hours i've gotten out of it it's easy to justify. i will always grab the community day boxes prob, and i want to increase my bag & box space soon

 

I maxed out item storage and bag space with the gift card I got for my birthday. It was funny because when I got the gift card at first I was like "yay two and a half months of iTunes music paid for." And then like 2 seconds later I was like "yay, I can max out my storage in Pokemon go." Needless to say, my mom made fun of me a little bit lol

 

O like the look of shiny Medicham a whole lot.

 

I now have 77 premium raid passes burning a hole in my "pocket" and it's funny because just a day or so ago I said "when this event is done I'm gonna relax and just gradually make my way to the next two levels I need to max out at 40." Now, my plan is to use all 77 of these raid passes before this event is over (hopefully with a lucky egg and star piece going for every single one of them).

 

Yeah, I'm ready to evolve, but I'm kind of waiting just in case I get another one with better IV rating or at least higher CP. The IV is 40% (yuck), but honestly I think out of all the shiny's I have the highest IV is for one of my Mareeps at like 61% or something. The thing that made me mad about the Mareep is it had literally been rainy weather all day up until the event started. Would have been great to have just been catching weather boosted Mareeps for 3 hours.

 

For sure! I wouldn't feel bad about that at all. I think I've probably spent $15 on it since it's been out, but then I think about how much more use I get out of this app in the summer time and while I travel compared to basically any other "game" I own. haha.

 

I love that Hitmonlee is a raid boss right now. Because I don’t need it.

 

Tried to solo one this morning and oddly enough I couldn't take it down. I gave up after two tries. That's what I get for not doing much research and just jumping into it.

 

Haven’t played much for this event sadly.

 

I feel like my egg distance is broken. I've walked for almost three Porygon candy (about 9k) and my 5k egg has only made it up to 2.3k. I keep checking it and it never seems to move. haha.

 

I think they have specifically went down on the number of tier 1,2,3 raids for this event. Usually, in the mornings before work, I see them everywhere. Since the event started I haven't seen more than 1. I was really hoping to hit a ton of them up this morning before work for the xp, stardust, and items, but of course I only found one. I see at least 30 gyms on my way to work. Sigh...

 

92% IV Zapdos! Feels good to snag one.

 

I tried too, it feels JUST too powered up. 17000 CP, I could have gotten it solo. 19k just missed it.

 

Glad spinning gyms is giving bonuses. I was running real low on balls.

Got on the same trail as last weekend where I got shiny Magikarp and Wailmer. I got a shiny Meditite within 10 minutes! Unfortunately for the rest of my twenty mile bike ride I didn't get a single shiny Makuhita. Probably saw 200 haha.

 

I got a shiny Makuhita today.

My girlfriend who's been playing significantly longer than me got her first shiny (a Meditite) a few days ago, so she's happy.
