My strongest Pokemon is still a 410CP Golbat that I caught in the wild. Currently level 11. I live in a semi-residential area and the heat/smoke have been terrible so I haven't been walking as much as I would like to. If I was visiting the city more I'm sure I'd be crazy high levels but oh wellll, things will pick up when the semester starts!

 

I only have one and it definitely wasn't 1600 when I got it haha, I'm with you on that.

Caught a Nidoking today and even that was 700.

My best are like a 700 Hypno a 500 Vaporeon and a 400 Dragonite and nothing else worth even mentioning

 

My best wild catch was today and it was a Ninetails (CP 789) on the most random road in town. Guess it really is possible for some good ones to randomly spawn.

Hit level 20 today and have maybe only 5 or 6 Pokemon above 1000.

 

My friend invitied me to a Pokecircle and this is intense. My friend literally brought a bag full of food so he can stay here for a few hours.

 

I've definitely done a few 7-8 hour days but I'm walking by the Golden Gate Bridge and all along the bay. I used to do urban hikes like that for fun so it's easy to just incorporate Pokémon Go playtime into that. The walks take a bit longer than they used to but it's really fun.

 

My strongest is a 769 CP Magmar that I got from an egg and a Venomoth that I evolved today. I've gone a few days without playing because Pokestops are so spread out here and the servers were down a lot last week.

 

Pokevision is great. Caught several starters, two new pokemon for my dex, and a tauros on the most random side roads.

 

this past weekend i walked 16km+ to hatch 8 eggs. I will list what I got so you can all laugh:

1) 10km - Onyx (only 200cp)
2) 2km - Paras
3) 5km - Ekans
4) 2km - an Oddish I think?
5) 5km - Bellsprout
6) 5km - Nidoran
7) 5km - Paras
8) 5km - Rhyhorn

Onyx & Ekans the only "new" ones I needed. My feet have blisters and I was literally splashed with seagull poop on my bare leg, as I was wearing shorts. Fuck this game...

 

Silly question, how does one go about posting pictures on Chorus? I'd like to partake in the sharing of lineups.

Up to 75/77 with the same two evading me (Kingler & Tauros) but I'm almost able to evolve my Krabby. Got my first Diglet, Onix, and Wartortle this morning.

last night i saw four people start jogging to a spot because whatever they were chasing only had 3:45 left according to pokevision hahaha

Pokevision is cool but definitely does not show everything. More specifically, rarer Pokemon that have shown up for me in game without lures or incense that weren't on the map.

 

Yeah, my final verdict for Pokevision is that it doesn't show everything, but whatever it does show is actually there. I imagine it pings for a certain short amount of time for each "scan", and the thoroughness of each scan is dependent on server stress, etc. It seems to be continuously improving, though - more stuff came up on my radar at work this morning than at any point last week.

 

I've never seen anything rarer than a Jynx in my whole town on Pokevision. I think the further you go out of cities, the worse it works perhaps?

 

Oh, absolutely. The country is awful for this game.

I was in NYC for work last Monday and it truly is a Poke playground. My train at Penn station got delayed so I went up to ground level around MSG and had a field day. Caught around I think 5-10 new pokemon I didn't have within an hour or so.
