enjoying the increase in water pokemon spawns, been getting some cool stuff that i never saw much.

 

the last thing i can even think of that they could do to improve the game without totally overhauling it is to add a third research mission set separate from Field and Special, something like Lifetime. big, cumulative, long term goals similar to badges. stuff like "x total raids", "x excellent curves", and "x days logged in". the hardest of the hardcore will always blow through it in a day somehow, but having 25 Ultra Balls, bag space upgrades, incubators etc waiting for a bigger goal would be great and is a system utilized by most mobile games.

not a complaint, love the research/p much everything about the game these last few months

 

Ive said it before but this game always swoops in with something new and fun to keep me invested right when im about to quit.

 

I'm still sticking to my goal of getting all of Gen 1 before I quit. After almost two years, I'm still no closer to an Aerodactyl, yet I was able to get Mewtwo.

So I'll probably still be playing for another two years.

My girlfriend had a shiny Magikarp run on her. Idk who was more upset, her or I.

 

Yeah, this is reminds me of my wife and I during the Dratini event. I would get wayyyyy more excited than her every time she would get a Shiny. She hasn't played since that day lol

 

Pretty excited to get Zapdos next week. Niantic has done a pretty good job at listening to players and what they want in the game. Raids are cool, but it just never seemed fair that it would be the "only" way to get the legendary birds and such. Can't wait until this cycles through to Ho-Oh (since that's the only legendary I couldn't get).

 

My coworker was one of those people that played during the initial hype but knows nothing about Pokémon. She decided to redownload it a while ago and somehow caught an Aerodactyl and Togetic (two I'm still missing) within an hour of each other. She showed them to me at work just to tell me how "cute" they were. Infuriating.

 

The day I see a Gold Magikarp I'm gonna throw a Ultra Ball with a Golden Berry just to be safe

 

I didn't get a single quality Moltres out of the 3 I got from research. Pretty disappointing but I guess I shouldn't expect amazing every time.

 

I literally do this every single time I’ve evountered a shiny and I’ve only encountered 1 “non event” shiny, but about 6 shiny all together.

 

It was weird all four Moltres I got had 86% IV rating.

 

What's the total possible number of pokemon to retrieve in this game now?

 

holy damn, i just got a 100% Magikarp

 

Much better than my 100% rattata I caught yesterday. (Although I do have a 100% Gyarados.)

lol I'm only at 3,653,831 total XP. I'll never get to level 40.

 

I’m less than 50k from level 33

 

im legitimately impressed and in awe of people who are at lv40 it took me around 4-5 months to get from 30 to 31 lol

 

Pretty much the same. I'm less than 100k from 33.

 

It’s sad because I’m trying to prove a point by getting to 40 because almost every single person in my raid group is a 40 but they also all spoof. I’m not saying I’m better than them or anything but they just constantly ask me why I don’t spoof and I’ve always told them it’s because I don’t want to get a temporary or permanent ban. They always say I have nothing to worry about. Needless to say, over half of them are still currently on shadow bans that started back right when they released the research.
