Caught all of the Japanese pokes! Happy to have hatched Lileep and Feebas, as I'd never seen either.

 

Crap, I forgot to evolve for my Ampharos to get the special move during the event. Oh well.

I only played about 30 minutes during the event because we were having a snowstorm and my fingers were falling off trying to play.

 

Had excellent 10km egg hatch luck yesterday. 2 Feebas, two Trapinch (I now have my Flygon) and I just need to walk Feebas 20k to evolve it now.

30 candy away from Metagross, and just got a second shiny bulbasaur today, evolved it up to a shiny Venusaur.

Fun times!

 

Got through the ghosts before the event ended and got more than enough Magikarp, so now if I can get a Ditto I will be home free. Hoping to get Mew before the EX raid on Sunday.

Honestly going to be really bummed if I get all of Gen 1 besides Aerodactyl. I have no idea how this one has avoided me.

 

I hate seeing that 149/151 for gen 1. Really wish they would at the very least give us a research task for the regionals.

 

The research task is "Visit Australia 3 times"

 

Honestly, if I had disposable income I would absolutely visit Europe and Australia with my main objective of the trip getting the regionals. However, that is something that I will never have because I am a school teacher.

 

I'm sure it's come up in this thread before, so forgive me if so. One of my tasks it to find a ditto. Is my best bet to just catch everything I see and hope for the best?

 

You're the best. I usually use Silph Road for this stuff, but it (and reddit) are blocked at work. Gonna just have to go hard in the paint until I find one. Thank you so much!

 

I would never do that (for the purpose of playing this game) for two reasons:
They'll inevitably be released here and I would feel dumb
I went to Mexico a couple of months ago and I could see Heracross and Corsola on my radar at the same time but couldn't venture far enough from my wifi to get them. haha.

 

Lol, hence the reason I said disposable income. I would love to visit those two places in general, so I would feel completely okay visiting with one of my main reasons of going to get those Pokemon.

 

Haha. That is true, although when you get on vacation, the last thing you really want to do is be on your phone!

Side note, do you remember when the game first launched and that dude in NYC who was the first to fill his Pokedex at the time was starting a GoFundMe for trips to get the regionals? haha

Caught three shiny Mareep yesterday. Also I have enough candy to evolve Magikarp five times. I have four shiny Magikarp currently buy their stats are garbage.

 

I'm really ready for the Kanto event to be over. Granted it's been nice getting double candy, but the Pokemon I need to fill out my dex (that are currently obtainable for my region) are gen 2 and gen 3. However, getting 12-13 candy for each Mareep caught yesterday was pretty sweet.

 

yeah Kanto event was cool for the first few days but i'm stockpiled on everything now. doing the occasional Latios raid when there's one close by but chillin out on it for a bit other than that

 

If I could get Hitmonlee and chan from this event I'd be happy. Their spawn rate is just way too rare.

 

I always felt the same way, and they were close to the last two that I got for Gen 1. But i'm surprised you haven't seen one cause i've been blown away at how many evolved Pokemon and Hitmon's i've been seeing.
