Okay I don’t hate this event completely. It was nice to get double candy for Latios

 

One more raid and I’m onto last tier. Really hoping to get Mew tomorrow. On my 33rd birthday

 

ok turns out the walking distance is indeed half, but you still only get 1 candy.

 

Wow, got 100 Magikarp candy in like an hour. This event has been clutch. Trying desperately to get to the Ghost tier before this event is up because Gastly are everywhere.

 

Eggs are doubled as well, which is what I was talking about. My mom just hatched a Beldum with 64 and I am stoked for her.

Just found my last ghost. Oh wait, he turned into a Ditto.

 

Got 20 great catches pretty easily, need 4 more ghosts, hoping that ditto doesnt elude me too long

 

I’m 100% not gonna find a Corsola during my last day here because of this event tomorrow, am I?

 

Finally putting good use to otherwise useless incense and Star pieces — got 4 ghastly tonight. Need 4 ghosts and it’s onto level 6.

 

And just like that I’m at level 6 with the only thing left to do there being the battle 10 raids thing.

 

Be sure to use the trick for that! It was so great on mine to sit at one for a half an hour and finish it off. Saved so many passes.

 

That suuuuuucks.

 

Just wasted the candies I was keeping for when I would find a gold Karp on a normal one for Mew. Ok they're not totally wasted since it was a 96% Magikarp but still. Now watch me get a gold one today.

 

Happy Birthday to me. Got my Mew this morning before work. I love the fact that it's going to have that date stamped on the bottom of it April 11th lol.

It's sad because while I was sitting in my "hot spot" where a bunch of Pokemon spawn and there's a lot of stops to hit just sitting in one spot I yelled for joy when I hit that excellent curve ball (in my car alone). It's the little things you know?

My work spawns 2 or 3 things at a time, but unfortunately I'm down on the basement level where I get the "GPS signal not found" error. Whack.

Haha yes! My plan is to load up 6 pidgey and just keep losing.

 

I’m also stoked to have a shot at hopefully a different Legendary mon tomorrow.

 

You don’t even have to do that unless you were planning on trashing the pidgey anyway. You can just back out to the raid lobby and let it time out without losing a single one.

 

Is Swablu's evolution decent at all? I have a shiny with terrible IV'sand just hit 400+ candies. Thinking about evolving him instead of my better non-shiny.

 

Not really. Its CP maxes out around 1700. If you want a dragon attacker then you're much, much better off using Dragonite or another Pokemon that can use Dragon Tail (such as Steelix, Aggron, or Flygon).
