I got a Porygon out of a 5k egg, so I feel like all my luck is gone for the next four eggs.

 

I'm hoping to hatch a few of the more rare Pokemon that I already have and want to evolve. Give me m/f Nido, Poliwag, Gastley, etc.

 

After getting my first Squirtle today, I only went & got another one in a 2km egg just now! Went on a 5km walk to hatch some eggs & it was just Pidgeys, Rattatta's and fucking Zubats the whole time. Had incense and lucky eggs on so the XP helped, but it's getting very frustrating for me not finding anything better.
Also saw my first Bulbasaur silhouette and damn-near pooped myself with excitement, but just couldn't find him

54/56 I need to catch up

 

Chased a Magmar around for 50 minutes this afternoon with no luck. Then I hatched a Pidgey.

 

64/66.

Abra ran after one ball. Horsea' evolution (blanking on the name) froze and I didn't catch him.

 

57/58.

I had a Gloom run from me. But I'm only one Oddish away from getting a Gloom anyway.

There aren't a whole lot of Pokemon that I have seen and tracked but not caught. So hopefully some of my eggs produce good stuff or different stuff becomes available around me.

 

Just hatched five 5k eggs at the same time, got a Voltorb (didn't have), Staryu (didn't have), Psyduck (didn't have), Ponyta (gave me 8 candies so I was able to evolve mine to a Rapidash), and an Exeggute (gave me enough candy to evole mine to a 1330 Exeggutor which is much better than the 350cp one that I caught). Also caught a Gloom and Kadabra. Good day after not playing for like five days.

 

is the quality of the lure module pokemon dictated by the level of the trainer who puts it down? i've noticed pretty large variation dependent on who places it.

 

In my limited experience, it has at least something to do with the amount of cellular traffic in the area. More people, more Pokemon spawn.

I've had only one 10k and it was back when this first came out, I got a Scyther. All my 5k eggs are never anything I don't already have and several times now, my 2k eggs hatch into Weedles. The worst luck with eggs.

 

But is it accurate..? There's nothing for miles of my house. Yet I keep catching wheedles if I sit here long enough.

I guess there's some Pokemon that spawn geographically that you physically have to walk on and then there's others that will always spawn on you eventually?

 

That last part is what I concluded after looking over pokevision because it doesn't seem to fully match everything.

 

Yeah poke vision and my nearby list did not match up at all.

Hatched a CP1037 Snorlax from my 10k egg... meh. Not a big Snorlax fan.

 

What a wild ride. Turned it on and the only thing showing up is a Vulpix (which I haven't seen before). Seemed like I'd have to go outside if I wanted it and while I debated it popped up near me. Had like 10 or so pokeballs. Got it first time but it escaped. Missed comically a bunch before getting down to my last one. Really focus, nail it and then it froze with it in the ball. Disbelief, rage, dejection. Finally I restart it and find that I have the Vulpix. Relief, jubilation, redemption.

Friday night, babay! Okay back to Stranger Things.

 

I got TWO Vulpixes and TWO Rhyhorns out of eggs. Which is awesome because that's a lot of candy for Pokemon I've never seen otherwise. And I've probably only hatched about eight eggs total.

I have 171 Charmander candies and a 546 CP Charmander to evolve once I hit level 24 tomorrow. Does the level you're on affect evolution? I also have am going to evolve a Rhyhorn right now. Stoked on that. It was a very productive day. I need 3 more Dratini for a Dragonite. Tomorrow will be a good day.
