AR+ seems pretty cool actually. That is actually how I originally imagined the game would be played before it was out - walking around using AR mode and actually finding Pokemon "in the world".

Also, according to Reddit, looks like around 20 new gen 3 ice/water types will be coming soon, probably this weekend.

Edit: After seeing this video, I am way less interested in AR+. Seems kinda lame.

 

so "sneaking up" on a Pokemon entails destroying the bush it was hiding in and then having it immediately stare you in the face

seems like a less than fleshed out concept lol

 

thought wed have to wait a lot longer for the next batch of Gen3. sweet.

I think the only new item as of now is the new star pieces, which work like lucky eggs but for stardust.

 

AR+ mode is live. It's pretty dumb.

Caught my first Absol raid this morning and it wound up being my second 100% IV Pokémon.

 

I don't have it yet.

 

In addition to AR+ being dumb, it’s stupid to boot.

The new round of gen 3 is out. Just saw a Delibird but it fled after one attempt :(

 

Caught 2 Delibirds and 2 Spheals

Got Torchic, Snorunt, Delibird, Kirlia today. Is Absol a Raid only mon?

 

even the previously released gen 3 are now EVERYWHERE, more rare ones I see everywhere now

 

Absol is Raid level 4 only and Mawile is Raid level 2 only.

Evolved to a Medicham and Manectric today! They're everywhere now

 

changing nests was very kind to me, I caught 20-25 new things yesterday and Treeckos are everywhere

 

Do we know which of the newly released ones are RAID bosses? Or if we could get any from Eggs?
