It's snowing in here, but it's giving us the Extreme Weather Warning...

 

Got my 11th Ho-Oh this morning.

 

I haven't even had a chance to raid for a Ho-Oh this whole time. Hopefully, I can catch some people raiding when I get off today since it's gone tomorrow.

 

I've had the Extreme Weather Warning ever since the second day they introduced this. We have a random sunny, 57 degree day here in Missouri today soooo.... Maybe it's just extremely good?

 

My phone (officially) died yesterday while I was at Universal and tbh I was super bummed because there's stops/gyms all over the park.

New phone is arriving Friday. I'm reallllllly looking forward to playing this with a battery that lasts more than five minutes of playing.

 

It’s come off and on for me a few times since the start. Hope they work out the kinks. Was pretty annoyed when it rained all day yesterday, but said “windy” for the entire second half of the day.

 

Is Ho-Oh here until the end of the day or is he gone earlier than that?

 

It's there until 4PM EST (1PM PST)

 

I just want a Ralts to walk dammit

 

Are they replacing Ho-Oh with another legendary today?

 

As far as we know, they're not.

 

They haven’t announced one. But what I didn’t know was that for the last Ho-Oh Raids that came up, they had boosted CP’s if you caught them. Got a Ho-Oh at 2742CP with 87% IV’s. Only my 13th one lol.

 

Only had one chance to raid Ho-Oh literally at the last one in our town. Got 12 chances to catch him. Hit him 6 times with the great curveball/golden raspberry combo and 6 times with the excellent curveballs/golden raspberries combo. Needless to say, I didn't catch him. First legendary I was unable to obtain.

However, still loving this weather system. Finally got some cloudy weather, which brings out Normal and Rock, and I've caught two Larvitar and two Snorlax in the past two days.

 

Didn’t bother with Suicune or Ho-Oh. Couldn’t muster the energy to get out there and raid. I think the weather system is the best thing this game has done though.

 

Groudon is available in raids until January 15th!

 

Yessss only a matter of time for Kyogre then

 

Probably right after Groudon, but maybe they'll do like Lugia and Ho-Oh where one was the first released and then they released the others and closed out with Ho-Oh. But Groudon and Kyogre technically form a trio with Rayquaza, so anything is possible really.

 

I just hope they don't do some crap like putting Latios and Latias region exclusive like they did with Plusle and Minun.

That would be the stupidest thing ever. Regional Pokemon aren't so bad since you can travel anytime to go get them, but doing Regional Legendaries would mean you would have to travel to Europe or something during that particular time window.

 

Man, I'm never going to get an of the legendaries. Highest I can attempt on a raid is still around 4000cp.

 

Well you can't beat a Legendary all alone anyway. You need a group of around 6-7 people or more (or less if everyone is level 35+)
