I've caught two of these, but it might be due to the cloudy weather.

 

Most people are nice, but there's this guy that is a dick about all this.

 

Plusle and Minun are (tragically) regional exclusive Pokemon. Plusle is in the Americas and Minun is in Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia.

 

Caught 9 new ones at lunch

 

Didn't feel like getting into this because my Pokémon storage was full, but I opened up the app and saw they expanded the base storage amount by 50! That's pretty cool

 

Even people who previously bought storage got 50 more spots, everyone gets 50!!

 

And the max storage is now 1500 instead of 1000.

 

Whoooa that's an insane amount. I'm at 250

 

The weather system is pretty tight

 

New today so far:

Wurmple x3
Miltank (which is apparently gen 2 but still)

Also seen a lot of random water types that don’t usually show up. Thanks extreme weather??

 

So today I caught Torchic, Mudkip, Poochyena, Zigzagoon, Wurmple, Slakoth, Makuhita, Skitty, Roselia, Gulpin, Zangoose. I also hatched Ralts and evolved it into Kirlia. A nice first day.

 

Love that cloudy weather affects fighting types. Caught a Hitnonchan in the wild last night for the first time ever.

 

According to The Silph Road, you can now catch higher level Pokémon in the wild. Someone said they caught a level 35 Vulpix in the wild from the weather boost.

Is there Glaceon/Leafeon yet? Those are gen 3 right?

 

How are pokemon asigned levels? I don't see that as any part of their stats

 

Been snowing for an hour here but the weather feature says cloudy still. This displeases me.

 

Pokémon go up to level 40 just like trainer level. So I believe once you get to level 30 you can catch a Pokémon up to level 35 with the weather bonuses. I think it used to be only up to level 30 Pokémon caught in the wild. But yeah so the CP reflects the level of the Pokémon. If you use a IV calculator it will tell you the level of the Pokémon.

I thought they were, but they're Gen 4.

Maybe. Normally I don't work on Mondays because I have something every Monday nights at 7, but since it's the holidays soon, I happen to be scheduled for work at 5:15 that day and the raid is at 5... I will probably have a special event at 7 that day so I can either find someone to take my work shift so I can go to Mewtwo and my other event, or I get "stuck in traffic" and arrive 15 minutes late. I'd prefer the first option haha.
