Loading screen is updated for holidays and features some gen 3. Any word on when they’ll be adding the new Pokes (other than just ~soon)?

 

For now all we know is "Later this week". I would bet it will be released tomorrow.

Since everything is on fire around me I got this notification when I opened the app. I wonder if it means less Pokémon will appear since rn all I have is a lone Slugma hanging around.

Apparently weather boosted Pokemon show up with a swirl effect around them and you get extra stardust for catching them.

You can create a team of 6 Pokémon for Gym or Raid battles. You can create a total of five teams.

 

weather really affects spawns. cloudy boosts fairy, fighting and poison and i've only seen those types with a lure module, 90% clefairy

 

Excellent news! This will be great for the places where certain types never spawned at all prior to this update.

I have "EXTREME" weather today because of the LA fires, which makes less pokemon show up

I go up to Albany to play all the time. You should join! haha. It's the only place I ever see good spawns.

 

I get why they do it but it almost feels insulting

i work in Corning Tower, so just sitting at my desk in my building that is a Pokestop is criminal lol. curious to see how Troy is.
