Haven't seen a Ho-oh out near me yet

 

Didn't expect my return to this to go this quickly...wake me up when Gen 3 is fully here.

 

Didn’t get a chance today but hopefully tomorrow afternoon it’ll be done.

 

Fought one today but didn't catch him at the end

 

Caught two so far. Way easier than Suicine I think.

 

How many people in a group did it take?

 

I've heard it takes around 6 people or more depending on the trainer levels.

 

My group was 11 people and 8 spoofers haha, we finished in 30 seconds

 

I still don't have any legendary Pokemon. Damn social anxiety. I don't even know where to start with finding people to raid with as I don't know anyone who still plays this.

 

I follow a couple of pokemon go groups for my city on facebook, so when there's raids we post it on there to get people.

 

Winter playing for me consists of driving to locations where the raids are, staying in my car in the warm heat, and rolling my window down a few inches to ask somebody in the group "We good to go in?"

You can also click on the gym if you're near it and see if there is a lobby of people waiting for one to start, and then just jump in theirs.

 

Thanks. Will have to try/look into these. I live in a pretty big city so I imagine there's some sort of group.

 

My city is just not quite big enough despite having a decent amount of players. I've checked the main Facebook group, but it seems like all of those people hit the raids like the first day they are live (while I'm at work) and then there's not much activity outside of that. I've gone to pretty popular parks when there are legendary raids and things like that but I've never seen more than two or three people playing.

 

Discord is the big pull in Albany, which is where I see the best stuff. My local town uses Slack and there's about 10-15 of us locals who play. I have it pretty lucky.

 

We had 16 in our group to get Ho-Oh. Gave me 7 balls (Had plenty of golden rasp), and caught him with my last one!

 

How much time did it take to beat him?

 

Just did my first Ho-Oh raid and caught it! 91% IV too!

 

Just caught him on my second raid, it was kinda ridiculous too... it was me and 8 spoofers, haha. Not a single player was there in person with it, so bizarre

 

A lot of people around here hate spoofers, so most of the time we do a private battle so they can't join.

 

While I totally get it, I didn't want to do a private battle with myself haha

 

Yeah that would be stupid haha! But it's weird you had to do a raid alone with 8 people who are not there. I guess there's much more spoofers around you than here.

 

Got an 89% Iv Ho this morning.

 

Does anyone know what time suicune won't be available anymore?

 

3pm eastern is my guess

 

Well, if that's true, looks like this will be the first legendary I will not have gotten...I'm sad now.
