That's awesome, I really didn't expect this so soon after Gen II. Still need to finish Gen I though... haha.

 

Yeeeeah if I could just get an Aerodactyl and a Hitmonchan, that would be great. Cannot believe I've opened this app nearly every day for over a year and don't have those two. Haha.

God damn, wish I hadn't looked at this thread and seen that Gen 3 is coming out soon Finally got over not playing this cursed game every day but hey, guess I'll be "back on by bullshit" at the end of this month! What is new in this game atm? Mewtwo?

I kind of said this about Gen II, but I don't know how much I'll even play with Gen III being out. I had minimal familiarity with the second group but I seriously can't name even one Pokemon in Gen III. haha. It's a blast that first day or so with all new guys to catch but I don't know.

 

yeah Gen 3 is not a draw for me, I stopped playing the games after gold and silver so I cannot name you one 'mon in Gen 3. I will still play (for now) as often as I do, maybe open the app once a day or so when i'm sitting at home to see whats around, but I probably won't actively go out to pursue them.

I think this is probably when I start to lose interest in the game.

It was super fun while it lasted for me, no denying.

 

I'll do Gen 3 just to get a Gardevoir and then quit until Gen 7 so I can get a Mimikyu

 

I can’t see myself quitting this game any time within the next year. I’ve just sunk way too much time into it.

 

This level 40 guy in my local Pokémon Go GroupMe said that the event info leaked. He said it was double XP, double candy for catching, hatching, and walking your buddy. Special pikachu. Umbreon can be caught in the wild. Feeding your Pokémon in gyms gives you 3x the stardust. Gen 3 ghost and dark types found in the wild, and stops give more items.

I couldn’t find anything about this from googling it but he is generally reliable about information on this game so I assume it’s true.

Ah! You are probably right, I’m too gullible sometimes.

 

Not gonna lie, the Buddy System is usually the only thing I utilize from these events outside of the increased spawns if I happen to need something that I can't usually get. Hopefully that ends up being a part of this Halloween event so I can knock out my Tyranitar!

 

50% off upgrades is my main draw to that hypothetical event

 

I'm pretty biased because I regularly play each new Pokemon game, but don't sleep on the Gen III Pokemon. Even if you don't know the group very well, there are some super bad ass Pokemon that are soon to come. A lot of favorites are in this gen, including Gardivoir, Blaziken, Sceptile, Sableye, Milotic, Mawile, Absol, Aagron, Salamence, and Metagross.

 

I know absolutely nothing about Gen 3, but I'll be collecting them all!
