Yeah I just checked a chart. It would have been pretty darn close to 100% IVs. I'm just more upset now lol.

 

Keep at it man. I've caught a couple on like my second or third throw. I didn't catch my first raid Tyrannitar either!

Edit: I just remembered, I had five balls left on a Tyrannitar yesterday and my screen froze and I couldn't get back into the encounter screen. If it makes you feel any better lmao. Reported it to Niantic and everything, no response yet.

 

That's an easy drive! I know what I'm doing on my day off haha.

 

Rumors of a stardust and XP event starting tomorrow through the 12th.

Would make sense since the one year anniversary is tomorrow.

 

I am in desperate need of stardust so I would very much welcome that. Also they should introduce a legendary on the day of the 1 year anniversary!

 

With the Raid Pokemon, excellent throws haven't meant a single thing. For both myself and others i've done them with, the Pokemon never stays. It's when I have a real shit throw and bounce it off their foot with my 4th golden raspberry that it decides to stay in.

 

I caught a Quilava with an excellent throw today, but it was like my ninth ball. I've caught stronger, wild Quilavas easier.

 

The only raid I've done was a Quilava and caught it on the first ball with no berry.

Looking forward to doing more raids when I can so I can probably be frustrated

 

Finally have all of the Evolution item Pokémon! Good moves too. Not counting regionals, I'm only missing Tyranitar, Hitmonlee, Unown, Granbull, and Ampharos.

 

I would be very surprised if there wasn't some sort of big one year anniversary event. Legendary Pokemon please.

One year and I still haven't completed my Gen 1 Pokedex! So. Close.

Yea there's no way that's all we get this month.

 

Kind of a letdown considering today is the one year anniversary

 

A lot of people kind of thought this anyway, but I would almost guarantee those festival events will have legendary raids going on. I would think they are saving a lot of their exclusive content for those things instead of for their anniversary.

 

Articuno has to be first based on the name right?!

 

Entei, Suicune and Raikou (had to literally look those up just now) are the worst so I hope they come out first of the legendaries. I hope Celebi & Mew are left until last as they are the coolest.

 

Holy shit the Anniversary Box is such a joke.

 

Hmm maybe there's more to this event coming later? It lasts a hell of a long time to just be another stupid hat wearing creature and a shitty discount box

 

Quick question: with the new gyms do I earn 50 coins total for a Poke in a gym (whether it's there for 1 day or 4) orrrr is it 50 coins per day (as in 100 for two days, 150 for three, etc)?

 

50 max total, which is kinda dumb. And even worse, it's not 50 per pokemon, it's 50 per day.

So if you have 8 pokemon, in 8 gyms, for 8 days... and they all get returned to you within the same day, you get 50 coins TOTAL

 

Ahh makes sense thank you!! That is pretty lame. I've had my Ursuring in a gym since like Saturday and was hoping for a little more. But at the same time I can't complain too much because this is the most I've used gyms/been able to earn coins. I'll just have to try to find some more Instinct gyms with open spots.

 

That stupid new Pikachu comes up as a fucking silhouette on the tracker - I thought it was a Flaaffy and booked it double-time to go catch it only to find one of those dumb things in it's place
