I didn't see any for months, then hatched 3 in a week or so. Have faith!

 

haha, aint that the truth! I'm the opposite with Mareeps; never seen one in the wild, even on the radar. As luck would have it I hatched my first one when an event was on that gave double candy for hatches, so I had 35-40 candies right from the get-go.

 

Really loving this Raid feature. Some aren't, but I think it's great. Having the slack app and being able to communicate with like 30 other players in the area about meeting for raids has enabled us to not waste any passes and have wins every time. 3 rather difficult Pokemon I needed are mine now and the rare candies have me 4 candies away from a Blissey. I don't think I ever expected to get this close to completing the Dex. Decided to run down the list and this is all I need now:

A) Hilarious that Hitmonchan is your last available Gen 1 because that's one of the two that has evaded me this far! haha

B) Glad this game has kicked it up a notch and is a good distraction for you. I'm glad to see people pumped about it again (even though I've hardly gotten to play). I love that it finally turned into a collaboration game and is what I thought it would be a while ago.

 

It really bothers me that I haven't gotten him yet. Haven't ever even seen a silhouette on the tracker. But everyone I play with says he was an early catch or was their first Tyrogue evolve. Hope to have Blissey by tomorrow if I do another raid and then it's just 5 left in my region.

 

I've been through tons of 5ks and no Tyrogue even, so I'm hoping when I finally get one, it will be a Hitmonchan! Also, how are you going to get a Blissey by raiding? Are you just getting Rare Candy from that?

Edit: Also, going on a cruise next month so I'm hoping I can nab a Corsola or Heracross just for the hell of it. It would be cool to have an additional region exclusive.

 

I'm going to NYC this weekend for a vacation and I can't wait to see how Pokemon Go is there.

 

Oddly enough, it's never overwhelming when I go for work. I hear central park is insane but i've never been. You will see things like Pinsir, Tangela, Scyther, like common folk though.

 

I've seen exactly one of each of those in the wild in my entire Pokemon Go career, haha. I am most excited for Central Park though.

 

I hatched 3 Tyrogues, transferred the second one I had to get the candy and be able to evolve one (still kicking myself for that stupid move), and then the third I JUST hatched last week and evolved to Hitmonlee. Every time I hatch one they give pretty decent amounts of candy. The last one came with 22, and it's only 25 to evolve so I just walked it. and yes, i've only ever caught one Chansey and hatched another so i'm at 32 candies with about 13 rare candies.

 

Conversely, I've had two Hitmonchan and need Hitmonlee. It's my white whale with this game or whatever haha.

 

Sheesh. Gym battles are so buggy now. Health bars constantly going back and forth. Move charges doing the same. Sometimes my Pokemon will faint right away when the match has gone for 5 seconds. Sometimes it shows them fainting then coming back to life.

 

NYC is amazing for Pokestops and electric types. Central Park has a good mix of everything. Make sure your phone is charged. lol. I always end up having to go to a dive bar to charge mine before shows.

 

Yeah it was a killer for 6 of us trying to get a Snorlax this afternoon. 3 people errored out in the middle of the battle twice, and my Pokémon as I go to switch them bounce in and out of their balls back and forth even if it's fainted. Sometimes my next one wouldn't even load.

 

Got my first Tyrannitar just now from a raid! Those sons of bitches are hard as hell to catch, I think I got it on my last ball. I'm at another raid now for another Tyrannitar and there's a raid around the corner for ANOTHER one.

Am I the only one who haven't played this game? I mean, I have tried for about a week then afterwards I stop.

 

Do you guys ever stop to think that we've posted over 8,000 times about a mobile game? I do sometimes...

 

No time to stop I have to keep walking this Chansey.

 

There's not that many people that still play it compared to when it first came out, but it definitely has a following.

 

Damn Muk ran on me today after breaking out of every ball with golden raspberries. The boss fight was great though.

 

Those who have caught raid bosses, what sort of IVs have the pokes been?

 

Of the three Tyrannitar's I caught, one was 91%, another 87% and 78%. All level 20 just like hatched eggs.

Muk was 81, Snorlax was 71, Quilava was 85, Electabuzz was 94, Croconaw was 86, and Magmar was 91.

 

Muk was 91. Magmar was 74.

 

I can't wait to have data again so I can do some of the raids!!
