This event is really good if you are trying to level up. Took advantage of the lucky eggs on sale and found an area with tons of Pokémon and stops and just kept catching Pokémon after Pokémon for 1,200 XP a pop as long as I hit a great, first throw. Should be to a level 35 by the end of the event.

 

Wow. Haven't seen a cyndaquil yet but I don't need too much more for a typhlosion. Hopefully I can get there

 

Yeah my xp is flying up catching everything and I'm well on my way to a second Charizard/Houndoom and my first Typhloison

 

I've run out of Pokeballs four times already. I swear it's taking 4-5 throws a catch for everything but Ponyta right now. Kinda annoying. And I'm hitting more great and excellent than not on throws.

 

Yeah, Ive definitely noticed an increase in breakouts.

 

I'm coming out of my cage but I been doin just fine, gotta gotta be down because I gotta catch em all tbh

Also getting a lot of critical catches. Got more in the last 24 hours than I have since I noticed they were a thing.

 

Agree with the increased breakouts - i've resorted to using nanab berries ffs! And I only have great/ultra balls too so I can't imagine how annoyed I'd be with regular pokeballs.

 

Finally got my stupid Foretress. What a stupid Pokémon.

What's the strongest Rapidash everyone has?

I evolved this one today:

 

I have one at CP1416 with Drill Run 80, and one at CP1251 with Fire Blast 140. I have a Ponyta I caught tonight though at CP1098 that I'm gonna wait to evolve until the end of the event and see how that comes out.

 

Nice! Good luck. Mine was 1156 before I evolved up.

Also, I can stop playing this event now finally 225/231, still on the hunt for a Hitmonlee.

It's nice to have these newbies though:

 

1271 with a 92% IV. It has Drill Run though.

This game is still going? I had so much fun with it when they released it but I got tired of seeing the same thing 99% of the time no matter where I went. Have they fixed that??

 

They do events every second week now it seems so you see the usual trash for a week or two and then some interesting stuff for a week (that becomes trash after a day or two) and then back to the usual trash. Repeat.

 

Why the fuck did I just go on a short walk and had Charmanders and Sneasels break out of multiple ultra balls with berries. Ridiculous.

 

Anyone know a good iPhone app to check IV's?

Ah you might have to adjust your trainer level? When you level up it won't be accurate anymore because it thinks you're still a lower level. I was having trouble with it too until I realized that.

 

I call for the immediate removal of Pineco from 10k eggs.

 

10K eggs should be exclusively Chansey, Mareep, Larvitar, and Dratini

Also... Excellent throw: breaks out instantly

Dog shit throw: catch!
