    there is one way out

This Pokevision website will officially ruin any work I get done at my office. As soon as I fired up my computer, I saw a Lapras and Magnaton expiring down the street, and I missed them... and I'm not going to miss them again.

This seems to work really well in highly populated areas, downtowns, etc. Rural areas, not so much. Although, it did lead me to a Staryu this morning a block away.

I have a 858 Flareon now. That's my current best. Gettin' there...

I have a 5 km egg at 4.99 km right now and i have to sit at my desk. So stressful, I just want to take a quick walk somewhere

Close the app for two minutes, but don't exit it all the way, then reopen it. It counts all the little random walking your avatar does while calibrating your gps again for some reason.

Haha i have been doing that for the last half hour. Hopefully it gets it triggered

Yeah, I work downtown, so it seems to be working very well. It doesn't pick up on lures (which makes sense, though).

I'm actually a little jealous of you. Mine always stalls at 4.54 (or 1.54) so I never know when an egg is about to hatch.

My best pokemon are now my CP777 Clefable I evolved last night and my CP774 Snorlax that I caught last night. It feels weird to be able to catch your strongest pokemon, when in the games, there is always so much focus on training them up over time. You grow attached to them over time, but I don't feel that way so much in Go.

    Fun must be always. Prestigious

me and my brother used poke vision last night just to look for pidgeot. We were in the exact spot it was suppose to be for five minutes but nothing showed up. We were sad.

I'm pretty much attached to the ones I've always been attached to thus far, even when they're weak (lookin' at you, Staryu bb). I don't think this game is set up to do anything than foster nostalgic attachment in it's current form. That, or foster attachment to ones you can potentially leave in gyms.

    The rivalry is back on

Vaporeon is my strongest, but I don't feel super emotionally attached to it because an Eeveelution is everyone's strongest.

I think my strongest is my Pinsir, now. Still not in the 1000CP+ club, though.

worth noting that the pokevision thing does not match up to my radar at all

Being without Pokeballs is killer. I hate that even the common/weak Pokemon bust out of the balls when you start getting to a higher level. I'm at 14 right now, and Pidgeys and Exeggcutes constantly break out of my Pokeballs which infuriates me even more because I live way away from any Pokestops. Ugh. Constantly wasting 3-4 balls or passing up common Pokemon. Or the worst, I miss out on a great one because I'm completely out of balls.

I know fairy is, but it seems that there are other types that are still missing. I have heard people use phrases like "steel" and some others that I never encountered in Gen 1. I have not bothered to look up the differences yet though so I am pretty ignorant in this subject.

Agree. It is a nice looking tool, but there is a disconnect between the map Pokevision displays and what actually comes up in the ap on my phone.

Pokevision shows a bunch of rattatas and pidgeys around me. Seems accurate to me.

Anyone's character just go crazy at times when you are sat still? I was sat at my desk today and my character must've covered about 150 yards at least without me moving a muscle - which was great because it kept walking near pokestops that are nearby so I could access them & take the loot!
