You know how sometimes if there's too many people in an area, you can't get cell reception? Could you imagine that happening there during the event

 

I would definitely agree, but it's also gotten better in recent years for things like that (personal experience being Comic Con and Coachella every year, service has been way better recently)

 

Just hatched a dratini with a bunch of candies. Need about 40 for dragonite. Need 10 now.

Then followed it up with a damn sudowoodo

 

Got another Pineco. 10k for an instant transfer. It's honestly worse than getting a puzzle in a kinder surprise.

 

I'll take the Pineco. Have only hatched one and it's the only one I've ever seen

 

I wish I had a Pineco.

 

I see Pinecos from time to time and also caught a Forretress in the wild, but still don't have a Togepi

 

Missed my 7-day streak yesterday, plus took over 7 days to get 1 candy for my Mareep. Just gonna wait for that fire/ice event to open the app again tbh

 

Today I evolved to Dragonite completing the Gen 1 NA dex. Thank you to everyone here who have been an outlet for complaints and frustration. That being said... I feel no different. What a waste of a year.

 

Super jealous. Trying to complete mine still but need Hitmonchan and Aerodactyl. Missed my opportunity and never saw one during the last event :(

Currently in Las Vegas this weekend and my hotel room is right on top of two Pokestops. Forget gambling, this is the real thrill.

 

Went to Six Flags Great Adventure this past Friday with high expectations. There were no lures the entire time and only saw Slowpokes, a Squirtle, and common folk.

 

Saw a Typhlosion on the tracker but couldn't get to it. Was the 1st time I've ever seen a 3rd evolution on the tracker

 

Pidgeot? Beedrill?

 

Nope

 

Damn. I see a few Pidgeots a week I'd say.

 

And whenever I do see an evolved form, it's almost always in the 20-40 cp range. Same goes for pokes you would find in 10k eggs.

 

Does the fire/ice event start tomorrow?

 

I just hatched a Tyrouge with HP and Defense as its best stats. I have a 50/50 chance at the Hitmontop I need as one of the final two available Pokemon in my area (Unown being the other). I got...Hitmonchan. I hate this game so fucking much right now. So fucking much.

 

Just saw a Machoke in the wild for the first time ever.

 

Just spent ten minutes driving around a parking lot trying to make the Togetic on my radar appear. No luck.

 

Yes. There's also a nest migration in 2 days on top of that.

I'm curious about the gym update. Disabling gyms indicates making some substantial changes. I assume the gyms will be cleared and Pokemon returned. I'm dreading it because I finally have some Pokemon holding gyms after months of getting kicked out in a matter of hours. I was getting used to a new incubator every few days.
