Finally got my Gyarados last night, feels good man

 

I used to get 10ks like every day. I got my first one in like a month today.

 

I picked up four 10k's yesterday after not having any for what felt like a few weeks. Then I realised that I'd had the same 9 eggs in my inventory at least 7 days - The more eggs you hatch, the more likely you are to pick up 10ks 'cause it's just percentages at the end of the day. I think I hatched about ten 2km eggs yesterday (and 4 or so 5km eggs) so there was constantly space in my inventory for new eggs; sweet, sweet 10km eggs...

 

Finally saw a Larvitar and I got the damn error when I tapped him!

 

Went out for 3 hours to look for Larvitars and to hatch a full 10k. Found no Larvitars and it was another fucking Miltank. At 99 Dratini candies now at least. And hit lvl 30 which was cool. I have like 70 items more than I'm allowed to carry though!!!

 

Finally got my muk. I don't know what else to go for now. Everything is like 40 candies away

 

I still hate the gps on this game and how they try so hard to keep you from getting an edge when it doesn't even work correctly anyway. Just ran 3 miles and then walked a ways for a cool down but barely got 4km out of it.

Oh well, I'm 16 candies away from a perfect Dragonite at least!

 

Walked my Chansey to finally get a Blissey, caught enough Kabuto and Omanyte's to evolve each twice today, caught two Aerodactyl's, two Lavitars, and got five Porygon candies today. This has been a really good event and there are still five days left

 

I may have had the possibility of getting Muk or Blissey sooner, but simply because of the large amount needed for Dragonite I have kept Dragonair going. Sitting at 50 something candies. I probably won't get Dragonite by the end of the event but I'll at least be within reasonable distance.

Strangely enough I only saw one Larvitar so far in the wild during this event, and then I go and hatch a Larvitar and get like 25 candies or so. Evolving to Pupitar, Golem, Omastar, and Steelix for the first time come tues/wed and I can't wait. Also will have my strongest Rhydon and Kabutops yet.

 

Oh and I hatched my second Miltank.

 

Man I'm at a loss. I've driven to every popular spot in town and checked my local Facebook group all weekend and still haven't managed to see an Aerodactyl. It's still evading me.

 

Not even seen an Aerodactyl on the radar or anything, best I've got so far is a 1200cp Gravelar. I didn't see a Lapras in the water event and luckily got 1 shitty Chansey in the valentines event. Just keep walking those 10km eggs and you will get one!

 

Hitmonlee is the only thing I've gotten through 10k eggs so I don't want to rely on those lol all the rest of what I've needed, I've gotten through nests or events...or walking my Dragonair

 

I'd kill for a Hitmonlee 10k. 2 Pineco's since my last Mantine.

 

I've hatched 4 Gligars in a row with my 10k eggs.

 

Oh man... the 3000 cp Blisseys are starting to dominate my neighbourhood and my Machamp doesn't have a good enough moveset to beat them. It's physically impossible for me to take back some of these gyms....

 

My apartment spawned three Totodile's, a Magcargo, and two Rhyhorn's. I usually get like, a Murkrow and some Sunkern.

 

At least you'll be ready for Gliscor?

 

I got angry that I hatched a Larvitar from a 10k earlier lol. Context - I really want a Miltank or another Mareep and I've hatched what feels like 10 each of Mantine, Pineco, Gligar and Larvitar recently. The former 3 should be 5kms at best.

 

Anyone complaining about too many Larvitars should be banned from this thread.

 

I've never even seen a Mareep.

Got my Porygon2 today!

 

Didn't know I already had enough candy for a Scizor. Just need another metal coat. After that I just need the candy for Bellosom and Kingdra. Already have the items

1. Togetic (14 Candies, randomly hatched one at the start of event)
2. Ampharos (87 Candies)
3. Unown (never gonna find this guy)
4. Heracross (Hope to find one next time I'm in orlando)
5. Donphan (0 candies, hatched a random one at start of event to put me at enough candies)
6. Porygon2 (Walked already enough to only need 33 more candies)
7. Miltank (still need to hatch/find)
8. Blissey (Hatched one and walked enough to get)
9. Pupitar (still looking for a better Larvitar with better IV's)
10. Tyranitar (Found a couple of Larvitars now and I'm down to needing 84 after I evolve for a Pupitar)

This has been my favorite event so far.

 

Definitely my favorite as well. Pretty happy that my walking/eggs put me at 60 candies with Dragonair, 45 candies with Larvitar, and I think roughly 45 candies with Flaaffy. The impossible feels possible.

 

There's something so satisfying about walking your buddy all the way to evolve it. Just got my first Blissey and I'm still walking it, powering it up as I acquire enough candies.

This event has been great, I also got enough candies to evolve three Golem, three Omastar, two Kabutops, two Rhydon, like five Magcargo, and a Steelix. Also caught plenty of Shuckle and two Aerodactyl.
