Welp. Just evolved my first Gyarados! Got Dragon Tail and Outrage as the moveset.

 

Just found a wild Blastoise. Rarest spawn I've ever seen. Used about half my inventory catching it even though it's worse than the one I already have.... terrible IVs and the worst moveset. Had to do it though.

Still not even a hint of a totodile or dratini....

 

I've caught five Lapras since the event started. Only two of them are a high enough CP to be useful but still stoked.

 

Damn, I'm jealous.

 

I've been using a live map sooo it's definitely not just luck or anything haha. Driving out of my way for these guys.

 

Oh lol That makes more sense. Like I said, I've been getting notifications from a Facebook group but that's about it. Can't believe I haven't found a single Dratini yet though.

 

lmao - just found a metal coat in my items list!?!?! Fuck knows how long that's been in there! What should I evolve, onix or scyther?

 

That happened to me too! I had an item that I had no idea I had, haha.

Scizor looks pretty fucking cool, Steelix looks kinda dumb. Up to you

 

Scizor probably a bit more useful in gym battles too.

 

I just noticed that each of my eggs has a date and location underneath it. Of course, the date is totally wrong (May 15, 2016), but if it gets corrected that would be super helpful. I never know which egg Im actually picking to incubate and I'm sure I have some super old ones just sitting around.

 

I accidentally transferred my only Perfect IV Pokemon when trying to favorite it to make sure I didn't transfer it.

 

Caught my first Totodile yesterday, and my 10k hatched a Pineco.

 

Chose to evolve scyther, now got a 80%IV, 1632cp Scizor! Now if only I could take over some gyms to put it in...

 

I heard that the magikarp's shininess only shows up after you catch it. So catch em all folks.

 

It's when you click on it, not after you catch it. You'll see the usual shiny animation from the game when you start the battle or whatever.

 

My city's reddit has lied to me!

 

Kotaku had a gif of it. I haven't seen it happen myself. They had the ditto sequence as well.

 

Guys...I got pretty drunk last night and was making my walk back home. Decided to open the app while I was still downtown. First spawn I see....fucking 1800CP Lapras. FINALLY.

 

Really wish Totodile was part of the event. Was just out playing for 2 hours.

Caught a Quilfish though which I forgot existed.

 

He's not part of it? I've caught a whole bunch the last couple of days. Even caught two Croconaws

 

Yeah. I've seen a lot of Totodiles.

 

Lol apparently he is I'm just complaining because I walked halfway across my city today and didn't see a thing.

 

Yeh he's 100% part of the event. Mareep is not however, and that makes me sad

I think because his type is electric, despite being blue colored and seemingly appearing more near the ocean
