Catching Magikarp with Pinapples like crazy. I might actually have a Gyrados by the time this over.

 

I don't get nearly enough Pinap berries.

 

I just got my Gyrados before the event. Wish I knew, would have waited and used some spare candies to level 'karp up a little bit more.

 

This event is just chinchous, remaraids, manatines, and poliwags for me.

 

Seen tons of squirtle. Finally got Blastoise.

 

A few extra Omanytes but otherwise it's almost exactly the same as normal for me. No Totodiles yet.

 

I got a Croconaw or whatever it's called right as the event started. Otherwise, not too much going on.

 

Lots of Squirtles and Remoraids for me. Also a buttload of Magikarp.

 

I had a Magikarp turn into a Ditto today, wasn't shiny though. My first day luck with the Dratini and Omastar didn't happen today. Seen pretty much every water pokemon except Lapras a ton, but I do live in a water biome already.

 

Mainly woopers for me. A couple of totodile but they all ran. Some magikarp but I'd like more

 

Ill get my blastoise tomorrow if I see even one more!

Caught a lot of psyduck today and a few omnanytes to finally get my star.

Hit lvl27 too. Excited to see what pokemon I get in Florida.

 

Not much luck getting anything I need yet, but hey I got a Kings Rock somehow

 

Just got my second King's Rock. Guess I won't complain since I need another. What was really cool was seeing someone's red Gyrados in a gym today.

 

Whoever decided to put Mantine in the 10k eggs is a son of a bitch.

 

I have my first 10K of the last few months incubating and I just know it....

 

Hatched my 5th Mantine from a 10km egg yesterday. I've probably seen 15-20 in the wild that I've just not even bothered to interact with, including two yesterday just after the egg hatched. They are more common than Pineco & Dratini for me as far as 10k's go.

 

708 Magikarp candies.. no Gyarados. Gonna have enough for two by the time this event is over. Just waiting on the right ones to evolve. Hopefully I can catch some high CP shinies.

The event is extra water biome pokemon spawns, also shiny magikarp are in the game now so you can get a red Gyrados

 

That would explain why there are Tentacool everywhere.

 

The kind souls of the local FB group have a comment thread going where they are posting locations/times of Lapras sightings. Doing God's work. Definitely turned on notifications for that.

Slow day at work and there is a park like right outside our building. Unfortunately my GPS doesn't work down in my office space soooo I can't even check to see if anything is out there. Really blows.
