Just caught my first Lapras! Low CP though. Gonna try to catch as many of them as I can during this event, along with Squirtle, Totodile, Dratini, Seel, and Omanyte. Gonna go out of my way for dem Lapras tho

 

No sight of a Dratini or Lapras. Desperately need both. In the meantime I'm sweeping up every Totodile I see.

Just caught another Lapras! Used Pinap berries on both of the ones I caught today too so I have 12 candies now. Both low levels but that's okay, easier to catch. To be honest, I use a "rocket map" created by someone in my local Facebook group that's basically like Pokevision but more accurate and more detailed, so that's how I've caught both of the Lapras. They are definitely spawning more frequently though, but not by a whole lot.

 

Same. I have 3 now after having none before today.

 

Have you guys expanded your boxes? I might have to pay for them once gen 3 comes around because gym shit is impossible here.

 

I've bought upgrades for Poke storage with coins from gym battling when they did the discount and then recently upgraded my bag with others. I've got a Vaporeon holding down a gym for three weeks now so coins come in semi-regularly.

Both at 300. I've seen some people in the Knoxville Facebook group who have bought up to the max 1000.

 

I have 950 in Pokémon storage and 450 in item storage. Took advantage of that discount they did a few months ago.

 

I'm at 350 storage and don't plan to expand anytime soon. 500 for items. What few coins I do earn I put towards incubators since I'm still missing so much. Gyms are full of absurdly high CP Pokemon by high level players so when I do join I'm generally at the bottom and get knocked out pretty quickly. Getting coins is a very slow grind right now.

I will be mad if I start running into Dratini left and right as I've been walking my Dragonair for close to 3 months and I'm 3 candy away from my first Dragonite. I haven't seen a Dratini in the wild in a LONG time.

I was wondering why there were Magikarp everywhere after work. I caught my first Seel since last fall and am getting close to a Dewgong. Excited to be so close to completing my Kanto dex.

 

Haven't seen a single Tododile silhouette since Gen 2. Feels like they aren't part of this event. Definitely no Dratini either. You guys are all high.

 

Haha, I caught a 700CP Totodile today in the same parking lot as the Dratini.

What's the deal with these Magikarp? They look different - more red when they were orange before? Should I start catching them?

Also, my EI was a fucking kings rock again, but now I have a Politoed at least. It's fucking terrible though and ended up with mud shot & earthquake lmao.

Edit: holy shit my Gyarados has changed too?! The colours are definitely all different - is that red Gyarados available in this gen?

You guys and girls are gonna hate me. I just hatched my sixth Chansey.

Also finally got my first Larvitar, Hitmontop, and I'm about 5 candy from Jumpluff.

Hitmonlee still eludes me, the only gen 1 available to us I still need.

 

Spun a Metal Coat on my 7 day streak this morning. I am 18 candies away from Scizor, so that will have to wait a bit. Last night I did evolve a Politoed with a King's Rock I picked up in Philly on Sunday. I need another Sun Stone for Sunflora and an Upgrade for Porygon2 as far as evo items go.

I caught an 83% IV Magikarp this morning as well. Hopefully this one won't have twister if I can get the candies needed (the event helped me get to 204 from 150 just this morning).

 

I've still caught ZERO Onix so I'm hoping I don't get a damn metal coat.

 

Hate is a strong word, but I really really really don't like you.

 

Really hope I can catch a Lapras during this thing. I'm only like 34 candies away from a Dragonite too so hopefully I can contribute towards that.

I only saw a single Chansey during the pink event, so hopefully I have better luck here...

 

So it's likely if you find a shiny Magikarp its actually ditto. Lol

 

That would be heartbreaking hah
