It's 10km and 2 candies, so if the Eevee hasn't found 2 candies but has walked the 10km, according to SilphRoad reddit it will not work when you evolve.

 

Speaking of battling, I don't do it often but yesterday I was waiting for my food at a restaurant and took on a level 5 gym solo. The second Pokémon was a 2400+ CP Blissey and after 6 attempts I could not get past it before time expired.

Yeah those high 2400-2900 Blisseys that are everywhere are really hurting gym battles. You basically need a super strong Machamp with fighting moves.

 

Caught a Snorlax, hatched an Elekid, and evolved Teddiursa at lunch. Thats as productive as I'm getting at work today.

 

Nooooo there's a Pineco at the pokestop just outside my drift area at work.

Mine is tomorrow! Which is good because I will prob hit the 200 mark of stops spun without getting one since I started counting a week ago. Got a Scyther, Onix, Poliwhirl, Porygon and a Gloom all ready to evolve so hopefully I'll be adding another to my pokedex this time tomorrow!

Water festival starts today.........super lame. Thats my biome already.

The blog post even says if you go somewhere where water Pokémon usually spawn you'll have a greater chance of finding the gen 1 water types...... so helpful. It does specifically mention Lapras though.

 

More Totodile spawning is very good for me, only ever seen one! I got 100 pinap berries ready for those lil fucks too!

Is Dratini part of this event? I just caught two on my 30min walk so maybe it's already started?
