I think nanab berries just re-centre the pokemon and keep them there so they don't move around.

3 or 4. Had a few before that too. Still not enough.

 

Wow. That event was the only one where it actually worked out for me then. And even then all I really needed was porygon and clefable going in. Didn't see one clefairy but I could probably evolve 7 porygon

 

I need Unown, Ampharos and Togetec plus 4 more items, then DONE

Although collecting every letter of the Unown is gonna take a long ass time

 

Caught a wild Tyranitar today! It was nuts, used 10+ ultra balls and raspberries. So that helped me out, then got a few others. But realllly close now, hope I can finish 'er out soon

 

Anyone else's game keep freezing right after the load screen? You can see your avatar's face in the corner but the rest of the screen is white. Usually it happens about 50% of the time but it just happened 11 times in a row. Getting pretty fucking stupid.

And I've only caught like 15 Gen 2 pokemon playing every day since the release. You guys are magicians.

 

That happens to me all the time. So frustrating.

 

If you have an iPhone and double tap the home button right when the loading bar fills up and then click back on the game it will not go to that white blank screen. I read it somewhere and it actually works oddly enough.

 

Same with Android, when it was happening for me I would turn off the phone right when the loading bar hits 100%, then wait a few seconds, and turn it back on. Worked every time

 

Hatched my first ever Bulbasaur today which is huge considering I've been walking my Bulba for like 5 months now. Only 8 candies but that saves me like 24km.

 

Had a good visit to Charleston today and got Hitmonchan, Qwillfish and Croconaw, plus my first Cyndaquil and look! Satanquil!!

 

Hatched a Smoochum and picked up a metal coat within a minutes time. It was beautiful.

 

Got sun stone today after a week of inactivity. So random how these evolution items pop up. Used it for Sunflora, so now I only need Scizor and Kingdra. Also need to hatch Tyrogue and then I'll have everything.

 

Still never seen a Sunkern. Hallllp

 

I'm not sure what's going on, but my eggs have alllll been Gen 1 (stuff that I don't need) recently. Surely I should be through all of my eggs since before the Gen 2 release, but who knows.

 

A good 75%-80% of my eggs are still gen 1's for sure. Annoying, but that's the waaayyyyyy the news goes!

 

Apparently, you can further control your Eevee evolutions beyond the name trick. If you buddy walk your Eevee for two candies and evolve it, it will be Umbreon at night and Espeon during the day. I tried it and got a much better Umbreon than the dreadful one I got with the nickname trick.

Yeah. I did mine last night. Saw a few videos about it on youtube and thought I'd give it a try.

Edit: Apparently, I spun a Dragon Scale from a Pokestop and didn't realize it. i know have a Kingdra added to my 'Dex, which puts me at 217 caught/219 seen.

 

Hatched my 2nd ever Aerodactyl yesterday and it has hyperbeam - are they good gym battlers in general?
