Every gym in downtown Atlanta had one. It's insane. I haven't even gotten enough time to hatch a single Gen 2 egg ffs.

 

Anyone else noticed an increase flee rate?

 

not that I can recall, but I'm not even bothering to catch more than 1 or 2 pokes a day atm (any Eevee over 600cp!)

 

I snagged Bellossom finally with my Sun Stone. I'm one candy away from Kabutops. Then, I'll just need both Hitmons to complete gen 1.

Are the Hitmons in 10km eggs still? I hatched a Kabuto out of a 5k egg this week.

 

5k from Tyrouge, but you need the right stats and 25 candies now.

If I evolved a 1100+cp Hitmonchan from a Tyrogue yesterday, am I allowed to "sound off" in these comments because I didn't get a Hitmontop? I had two Tyrogues, both appraisals had HP and Defense as their good stats apparently which means it's 50/50 between 'chan and 'top when you evolve - I'm too scared to evolve the other one now!

Got a Blissey though for 205/205 pokedex

 

I just caught a CP 48 Dragonite while sitting at my desk at work; it has hyper beam and is "really strong".

Edit: And I just hatched a Togepi! I am at 212 caught/216 seen.

 

Fuck these evolution items for sure - must be well over 300 stops I've spun since I got my one & only King's Rock a while back and nothing, yet you hear of people getting two within 1 hour etc. It's annoying because all I can literally do on this game atm is walk my Larvitar, Pineco or Togepi to evolve, and of course I can only do one at a time. Didn't expect to be stuck so quickly on gen.2

 

Got a Metal Coat on my first 7-day spin after Gen 2 released, then nothing for 3 weeks. Now I've got 2 Dragon Scales in the past 3 days. Was so disappointed when I got the 2nd one and realized that I had no use for it haha.

Also, I'm gonna count how many stops it takes from now for me to get an evolution item (without counting the 300+ I've spun since the last one). I'm on 4,709 at present.

It was also my fourth 7-day streak today and I haven't got one on any of them. I have 200 great balls, 100 ultra balls, 200 razz berries and 75 pinap berries atm. Must have trashed around 1000 pokeballs + potions this past few months for sure.

 

I got my third evolution item yesterday: a King's Rock. I hit approx. 30 on most days so I guess I am not that lucky on that front. I added Skarmory and Slowking to my Pokedex as well. I'm at 214/217 now.

 

Dang I hit maybe 1-5 pokestops a day on average and have gotten 4 items hehe. Dragonscale is the only one that I need now that I'll actually be able to use.

 

Happy I took advantage of the nice weather in February, we just got pummeled by snow and can't walk around even if I wanted to. Combine that with the fact that only guys I need are from evolution items or hatching (Tyrogue).

 

Still only got 1 over a month ago. My town has not been seeing any new Pokemon from Gen 2. Haven't had a silhouette in at least 2 weeks I think. Probably gonna forget to keep playing until a new event shows up in here.

 

Yeah I hit my limit pretty quick with this Gen. It was exciting for about two weeks, but then you're back to just seeing bugs and owls every time the app opens. Only gotten one evolution item, otherwise I have things like Gloom, Seadra, Scyther, Politoad, etc. ready to go.

 

Yeah, I mean... I went too hard haha. I got all my shit other than what's left and hit a wall a few weekends ago where there was nothing left around me, whoops. Still fun though.

 

I know a lot of y'all don't care about gym battling and having strong pokes and whatnot but the game is a lot more fun if you do. imo

Searching for that one Poliwag to evolve all the way up and keeping 125 candies for the occasion, checking IV's, movesets etc. all keep me playing this. It will probably be like a year before I even complete the gen 1 pokedex.

Right now I'm mainly focusing on catching pidgeys and ratatas to do a mass evolve. A lot of the appeal of the game for me is that the higher level you are, the higher CP Pokémon you see in the wild. To each their own though!

 

Yeah, I'm where you are right now. My goal is to make it to level 40 without having to pay any money and the only way to play this game without paying money is to hold down gyms. I literally catch everything that is on my screen at a given time just so I can mass evolve and get more XP. However, in the process of doing this I have completed gen 1 except the regionals.

I am mad at myself for not checking the IV's for a lot of the pokemon I have dumped a ton of stardust into. I'm only sitting with one with 100% IV's and fortunately for me it's one of my favorite, Charizard. It really does add an element to the game that makes it worth playing and it will have me ready when they do finally release PVP.

 

I don't really care if i get 100% ivs but I usually don't evolve something unless i can evolve like a 70%+

 

Yeah, gyms just aren't my thing. The battle mechanics are too basic and screen-tappy for me. I loved the way the battles worked in the original games, but this isn't my style. I also still don't know what an iv is
