There's just so much wrong with this sentence. Have only had one 10k this year.

 

lmao, sorry guys - I did fear that that post would would be kinda douchey, but i saw on silph road reddit that many people are experiencing the same thing. I had only hatched one or two Dratini in the whole time of playing the game before this past 2 weeks though.

 

Never hatched a dratini. Only seen 5. Haven't since probably October.

 

Got my Togepi!!!!! I can quit the game now.

 

Got a Totodile today so now have all 3 new starters, and also hatched back-to-back Magbys last night meaning I only need Smoochum to complete the list of babies. It's getting annoying waiting for evolution items though - have spun stops 100+ times over the past 2 days and got nothing, yet my collegue span <5 stops on her way to work this morning and got a Steel Coat

 

Not to piggyback on this hate-train, but I have hatched three recently as well. Though my 10k egg well seems to have run dry. I just want a damned Mareep. Ampharos is my favorite Gen 2 Pokemon (and one of my favorite overall) and they are so damned hard to find. Has anyone in this thread found any from the line yet?

 

I found a wild Flaaffy in NYC, been walking it every day for last couple weeks.

 

I hatched two Dratinis pretty recently

 

I just evolved Dratini for the first time to Dragonair about a week ago and I now have 3 candies :(.

 

I think in the new egg hatch rate chart for 10km Dratini is like the second most probable now, behind Pineco. Like 20% or so chance of hatching Dratini

 

I'm 36 candies away from Dragonite. Nothing else to walk from Gen 1 so I'm at 56 km walked.

 

What gen 2's come from 2km eggs beyond the babies?

 

Aipom 2KM
Misdreavus 2KM
Remoraid 2KM
Slugma 2KM

Ledyba 2KM

 

Slugma is the only Pokemon I need from 2km eggs now

 

Do I have to get new eggs for them to hatch 2nd gen pokes? In other words, if I have some eggs left over that I received when there was only first gen available is there any chance of those hatching 2nd gen? Basically are eggs determined when they are spawned or when they hatch?

 

Yep, the pokemon is assigned at pickup, so anything you got before Gen 2 is a Gen 1

lmao, 99% of 2km eggs you pick up today will be gen1 if my luck is anything to go by. A Goldeen, Nidoran female or Ekans I would guess...

EDIT: Hatched two 2km eggs on my lunch break - surprise surprise, a FUCKING Goldeen and a FUCKING Nidoran female!!!

I have never hatched a Dratini and it's pissing me off how many of y'all are, haha. I've caught four, I think? It's my furthest gen 1 from final evolution.

 

My furthest Gen 1 from final evolution (that I'd caught) is Grimer.

 

There's a guy in the Knoxville PokeGo group that evolved and powered up seven Dragonites to over 3000 yesterday. Wtf.

 

Fuck Dragonite. My personal end game is Venusaur. At 81 Bulbasaur candies. Dragonite and Tangela are a crap shoot so I'll consider Gen 1 done with Venusaur in a few months when I've walked 45 more candies.

 

Guess it goes to show how randomly this game is populated as I've evolved two Venusaurs already (and two Chikoritas all the way through) but I'm still fifty candies from my first Charizard.
