I tried to avoid the shadow thing but after it happened once I didn't care about the rest. Is kind of obnoxious tho, the "seen" number is basically arbitrary to me now

 

I caught my 700th Eevee last night.

 

Just hit level 27 yesterday. 176 caught.

 

Hatched a Stantler! Not sure how rare they are but I haven't seen one yet. My first cool hatch since gen 2, other than Smoochum I guess

 

Caught a Mantine and a Skarmory today. Also got all nine gen 2 starters in ten days... still don't have all nine for gen 1.

 

Just got a Gligar

 

Saw a 3500+ Tyranitar in a gym today......

 

I fractured my ankle yesterday. There goes my Pokemon Go-ing.

 

Just get one of those electric wheelchairs.

 

Maxing out my Piloswine so that Mamo is a fucking tank when I get it.

 

Recent catches. 178/191. It's a slow progress, but I feel like Gen 2 is coming along easier than the first one.

 

I haven't seen a single one of those special pikachu for this current event, not even on the radar!

 

I've only seen two. I have a Christmas Pikachu and Raichu so 2 is enough for me to have one of each.

 

I trashed all my christmas Pikachu, and my christmas Raichu as it ended up with brick break

Also, can anyone give me tips on battling gyms? The one I live next to is fucking stacked; 7 levels with no pokemon below 2000cp, and a 3100+ Dragonite at the top!

 

That's a very weak gym by my city's standards actually lol

There's a gym down the street that is level 10 with a 2800 Blissey at the BOTTOM.

 

Yesterday I rode my bike to that pretty obscure gym out on a trail in the middle of nowhere. I was hoping I could get a Pokemon in there since I was able to hold it for a month one time before. Well, I guess the secret is out because it was at level 10 with a couple of legitimate level 40 players in there. Bummer.

 

Remember when some dude hit level 40 after like a month or two? How tf did he do that

edit: no one from this thread obviously lol, he was I think the first known person to reach level 40

Haha these two people in my city (they're dating I think) legitimately play almost all hours of the day and post in the local FB group like crazy. They raced each other to level 40. I don't know how you could enjoy this game that much.

 

Steelix or Scizzor? Got a metal coat without realizing.

 

Whichever one (onix/scyther) is rarer for your area. I've only ever seen 3 or 4 Scythers so I'm immediately gonna use metal coat on one of mine when I get it.
