It's almost seeming like Niantic just shifted the dynamic of the challenges of this game with this generation. Maybe the hard and sought after pokemon will instead be all of the pokestops you have to spin to get the special items. Hell I"m at 192 and I haven't really done much hunting other than just opening up the app at home/school/work.

 

I opened up the app at my new apartment yesterday and there was 3 pokemon. Sure beats the 0 at my current place.

 

And it beats my current apartment going from having a spawn point from my couch to none

 

Yeah!!! I used to have one too back in the good old days. Now It's 5 steps outside my house, which is too much for me most of the time haha

 

Miracles do happen... after X amount of days since the babies were introduced, and seriously 100+ eggs hatched since then.... I finally got my last two babies, almost back to back. ALL BABIES ARE MINE

 

Just picked up the keys to my new apartment and went round to check - guys my apartment block is a pokestop. I can just lie in bed, put lures down & hella rares will come to me. There is also a gym that is 0.01mm outside my avatars circle, so with a few random steps via bad GPS and I can battle anytime I want too.

I have hit the PoGo jackpot!!!

 

So I just got another evolve item but it was one I already had and you can only use it on Porygon. Now I probably have to wait another week to get another one...

 

8 months in, and it finally happened!

 

Pretty sure the only Egg I need now is a Tyrogue.

 

Im still chasing ditto like a sucker.

 

Finally got a second evolve item. Pokedex now at 215

 

Mantine and Pineco being 10k eggs is maddening. I have been getting 10k eggs regularly and my GPS at work is wonky enough that I can hatch one per day while working. That said, I have hatched 3 each of those 2.

That complaint aside, I have finally obtained two evolution items: metal coat and sun stone. I now have a Bellossom and Stellix. Pokedex is at 199 caught/203 seen.

Oh, I also finally hit level 30.

 

Headed to Coral Gables for a few days, hopefully I could nab a Heracross and/or a Corsola!

 

Finally caught an Aerodactyl!!!

Officially done with all the gen 1 poke except the region exclusives and legendary pokemon.

Sitting at 189 on my dex.

Now it's just a matter of getting the evolution items.

I really like where the game is heading with the new berries, extra xp, more candy for 2nd and 3rd evolutions. Just really looking forward to trading, pvp, and an event to get the legendary.

Edit: I'm 1.4 km away from hatching a 10k. With the kind of luck I have sometimes, I would be willing to bet a good amount of money it'll be an Aerodactyl.

 

I haven't been making any progress with this game lately. Working crazy hours, traveling, got the flu, and then to top it all off, someone slammed into the back of me at a stoplight a couple of days ago. Needless to say, I haven't been walking my Dragonair that much. haha.

 

Got a Forretress and Miltank in the city today woot!

 

Got myself a Feraligatr, I feel proud.

 

Chikorita is still the only starter I have seen (plus caught a wild Bayleef). I don't even know the name of the fire one?!

 

There's a Totodile or however you spell it nest at the esplanade in boston. Caught about 40 in a 2 day span.

 

Yeah I've yet to see a Cyndaquil either. Though that's pretty much in line with Charmander last gen, had to go to a nest to see one for the first time.

 

Just caught a Crobat in the wild which was cool.

 

Yeah, these starters are a lot like the Gen 1 starters for me with exception of Totodiles being slightly more common than Squirtles. I'm almost ready to fully evolve Chikorita, evolved a Croconaw, and I've only caught two Cyndaquils.

Not surprising considering I had a Venusaur waaay before Blastoise or Charizard.

 

FINALLY GOT LAPRAS!

 

I definitely work in a Cyndaquil biome, I already have two Typholsions, oops. 80ish candy for Totodile and only 30ish for Chikorita

 

I have every baby except Togepi and Magby now. I also nagged my first Grimer, Octillery, Tyrogue, and Girafarig. I think I spelled those right?
