Thanks! I did Sakura and got Espeon, is that backwards?

 

People on reddit reporting that catching 2nd and 3rd evolutions in the wild gives more candy now.

 

I'm pretty sure this is the case. I caught a Croconaw and got 5 candies. Same with when I caught Ariados.

Haven't done any research yet... How do you get those special items that dictate how you evolve Pokemon with two different evolutions?

You guys are getting some crazy good stuff! I caught on late today, but I'm sure I won't be seeing crazy CP'S like that. Also upset both of my Lapras' were nerfed.

Edit: Just noticed Ursaring's Hyper Beam is 150 jfc.

 

This is actually fucking wild I'm excited catching so many of these new ones. Had a 1200+cp fucking Xatu or whatever run from me but have caught 9 new ones, nothing at the level you guys are at though - best is an Ariados.

Edit: If lures are still 6 hours then I am sat on a double one at work all day today! So excited to beat you guys to the complete pokedex xoxoxo

Edit 2: Now up to 16 new ones, best is a 1300+cp Sudowoodo!

God damn what a morning so far - Just encountered my first ever wild Dragonite that popped up from the double lure; 1696cp with Hyper Beam at 150, took me 20 razz berries & 20 ultra balls to get it lol.

As for new ones, I have so far Bayleef, Sentret, Hoothoot, Ledyba, Ledian, Spinarak, Ariados, Crobat, Chinchou, Natu, Marill, Sudowoodo, Hoppip, Skiploom, Wooper, Murkrow, Wobbuffet, Dunsparce, Gligar, Snubbull, Sneasel, Teddiursa, Swinub (little p.o.s.), Piloswine and Stantler. Waiting for good cp Eevees to evolve Espeon & Umbreon.

I havent heard of any of those above bar the two Eevee ones but I feel like they're all commons - what are some cool pokes from gen.2?

Edit: wow, 25 new pokemon in one morning. Sitting at 171/173 atm. Two 10km eggs incubating too, PRAYING one is an Aerodactyl.

Wobbuffet was my first new catch, I know nothing about Gen 2 but I like his stupid face

 

I've got Chikorita, Bayleef, Cyndaquil, Ledyba, Crobat, Chinchou, Sunkern, Yanma, Wooper, Espeon, Umbreoon, Pineco and Octillery, and that's all from just sitting in my house last night

 

Caught a Sneasel and was super happy because they were pretty rare in the game.... then I caught another one so I guess not.

 

Could be a Dratini type situation where they are more prominent in the beginning and then they nerf the spawn rate. I'm actually hoping for instances like this so I can take advantage this time like I wasn't able to last time. I kinda doubt all of this though but I'm trying to stay hopeful.

 

Can someone make a list of what evolves from Gen 1? Like Golbat, Eevee, etc.

 

Also, it looks like Onix Seadra Scyther and Porygon can evolve but need special stone

Got 4 more new ones on my lunch break (Chikorita, Noctowl, Remoraid, Mantine) leaving me at 175. Also now have FOUR 10km eggs incubation. So many people were playing too, lures were fucking everywhere - was exactly like it was when the game first came out
