so the 5k eggs are MORE crowded now? jeeze

 

Oh that's not so bad

 

Yeah, it's mainly the 2ks that are affected, anyway.

I never really understood why Geodudes, Jigglypuffs, and the starters were in the 2k category but all of those other things weren't.

Edit: Also, I get that the Eevees are there to help beginners be able to battle effectively, but why didn't they choose the starters for that purpose? Isn't that, you know, the whole point?

 

I think they wanted the starters to be more challenging to get, though if that's the case I don't know why they aren't stronger than they are

I guess complaining does work. My 91CP Lickitung yesterday? Caught a 971CP one today in the same spot.

 

Yeah, if they would have made them hard to obtain but made the base forms pretty strong (so that you had to stick with them for a while), that would have worked out. It just seems like the old game placed an emphasis on growing that first Pokemon you got, but this game doesn't really have any upside to using a starter at all.

Also, the color thing makes sense, I guess, except you don't really have to stick to a "type" of Pokemon just because of your team so it's not completely relevant. Who knows.

I took a ten minute detour and was late to work this morning to get one... No shame.

 

Haha I nabbed one on the bus ride home and hatched a Pichu right after. Two new entries :)

 

Got my 5th Dratini in one day earlier, from an incense no less. Something must have been changed as far as their spawn frequency goes, no-one is that lucky in this game!

 

I have 11 dratini candy. Been here since day 1.

 

I'm 30 candies away from my 2nd Dragonite. I live right by the coast though and they always pop up when i'm near the sea! So if you're "inland" (nautical term) then I can sea ( ) that they'd be rarer.

 

Yeah dude. I'm on my sixth ever but I hatched one during the double candy thing last time. 40 candies in one day would do me some good haha.

 

Just caught a CP696 chansey with hyper beam. Pleased with that

 

Got another 10km egg from the exact same pokestop I got my last 2 - I can't see 10k's being completely random anymore, there has to be something in the games code or whatever that determines where you can get them from, whether it's geographical (the less-often visited stops theory) or something else.

 

I can only remember one stop in particular where I got one from, so maybe I'll try going there this weekend. Otherwise, I haven't had one since late October I'm pretty sure.

 

Saw a Tangela in a gym today.

 

I finally got a Chansey! Gen 1 North American Index complete. I'm still missing a couple of the babies, plus Kangaskhan and Farfetch'd, but otherwise sitting at 146/147.

Thank god for this Valentine's event, I honestly thought I'd never even SEE a Chansey, let alone catch one.

 

Bring on the Tangela event now!

 

Just caught my 2nd ever Ditto! Can't believe it's taken this long to see another one.

 

Mainly playing this during the events now but still enjoying myself. The tracker "PokéTracker" for iOS is pretty awesome. Not sure if it's on other operating systems.
